"You will begin by learning the oath of honor and ingraining it in your heart." Wo Bei said sharply. He unfurled a scroll that shimmered faintly with energy. "Speak the words."
Wooyun though a little reluctant, recited the oath as instructed, each word felt like it was anchoring itself deep into his core like a brand.
When it was done, Wo Bei rolled up the scroll. "Now your training begins. You will learn not only martial technique, but the history, strategy, and doctrine that define our sect."
Wooyun could only nod. It wasn't like he had a choice in the matter.
As he read through the scrolls handed to him by Wo Bei and listened to his instructions, Wooyun couldn't help having flashbacks of his time in school. Back then, he was forced to go to cram school for extra hours of studying. He hated it at first but came to appreciate the discipline from attending every day.
