Chapter 090
"Oh? So you mean I'm just like Enel, huh?" Rin narrowed his eyes slightly, responding to Artoria's words with a teasing smirk. The comparison sparked something in him Enel, the self-proclaimed "God" of Skypiea, had been powerful but arrogant, ruling through fear. Was that really how Artoria saw him?
"Of course you're not!" Artoria quickly interjected, flustered. To her, Rin was nothing like Enel. Rin was powerful, yes, but also kind, warm, and loyal. Her heart fluttered. As the saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" to her, Rin was unmatched.
"No matter what happens from now on, I won't allow you to stand in front of danger again not for my sake. You're my woman. It's not your job to protect me. It's mine to protect you." Rin's expression turned serious, his voice filled with conviction. In his heart, Artoria held a place just as important as Guina. From the moment she agreed to join his crew on their journey, Rin had sworn to conquer her not just in strength, but in heart and to make her his for life.
"It's my duty to protect you, too. If anything were to happen to you… I'd never want to live without you!" Artoria's cheeks turned red. It was rare for Rin to speak like this, and though it embarrassed her, it moved her deeply.
"Then maybe I'll just marry a few more beautiful wives in the future," Rin said with a playful grin. The incident with King Neptune had made him think: if something like that happened again, would Artoria still stand by him?
"You're already going to marry Guina. What more can I say?" Artoria looked away, smiling faintly. In this world, the strong set the rules. For someone as powerful as Rin, having multiple wives wasn't uncommon. She had already decided she'd support him quietly, no matter what path he chose.
"I'm not just marrying Guina," Rin said firmly. "I'm marrying you, too." He didn't know if she had heard his vow while unconscious, but even if she hadn't, he would say it again, here and now.
"Really? You're going to marry me~?" Artoria's face flushed deeply. In her mind, Rin had always been the one behind her, silently guarding her every step. She remembered lying on his chest, poisoned and fading into unconsciousness, and seeing the deep worry in his eyes. Just thinking about that moment now filled her with joy.
"That's right. I'm marrying both of you. You and Guina my two favorite women in the world." Rin had never thought he'd say something so sentimental out loud, but it was true. In his heart, Artoria already felt like his wife it was just a matter of time and ceremony. And when that time came, he would stand beside both of them.
"I'd really like to meet this Guina." Artoria tilted her head with curiosity. She wanted to know what kind of woman had left such an impression on Rin what kind of spirit she had, what kind of strength that could capture the heart of a pirate captain.
"She's incredibly determined," Rin said with a nostalgic smile. "Her strength isn't ordinary, either. I wonder how she's doing now..." His thoughts drifted to the Isshin Dojo in East Blue. Was Guina still there, training under her father? Or had she started her own journey?

Isshin Dojo, East Blue
"Brother Rin… I wonder where you are now."
Guina sat alone in the dojo, eyes drifting to the empty corner where a pair of training weights sat—the very ones Rin had gifted her before leaving. She hadn't seen her strong, gentle "brother Rin" since their farewell.
"When will I get to fight you again? I miss you so much, Brother Rin!"
Her voice echoed across the quiet training yard. Since Rin's departure, she had doubled her sword practice, pushing herself to the limit every day, hoping to impress him the next time they met.
"Alright, alright, I heard you," came a familiar voice. Zoro stepped into the yard, his green hair swaying slightly as he approached. He had heard Guina's cry all the way from the corridor.
"Zoro? Why aren't you training?" Guina glanced at him with a mild glare before turning her gaze back to the weights. Her heart was still with Rin.
"Guina, why do you still think about him every single day?" Zoro crossed his arms, exasperated. "You're acting like a lovesick fangirl." Ever since Rin left, Zoro had noticed Guina constantly staring at those weights, lost in memories.
"Tch, you're hopeless." He shook his head. "Anyway, your father said it's time for training. Stop daydreaming."
"Yeah, yeah, you go on ahead. I'll catch up soon." Guina waved him off, clearly wanting to be alone a moment longer.
"Hurry it up, then." With that, Zoro walked off, heading back to the dojo.
"Brother Rin… just wait. One day, I'll appear before you again as a true swordswoman, a real Kenpō master!"
With new determination, Guina gently packed away the weights Rin had given her, placing them inside her cabinet, and rushed off to join her training.

Elsewhere…
Tashigi who had been quietly trailing behind Rin during recent events was now preparing her latest intelligence report. She had witnessed everything that occurred during the Sea King assault on Fish-Man Island, and now she was reporting to Fleet Admiral Sengoku at Marine HQ.
"What? You're saying three Sea Kings attacked Fish-Man Island?"
Sengoku's brows furrowed. Fish-Man Island was protected by both natural geography and its alliance with Big Mom's crew.not the sort of place Sea Kings attacked casually.
"Tashigi isn't sure about the cause, but... it seems to be related to Princess Shirahoshi," she replied. During her investigation, she had overheard whispers among the locals. They suspected Shirahoshi's unique ability might be connected but few knew the truth.
Indeed, none of them had guessed that Shirahoshi was the ancient weapon Poseidon a secret that, if revealed, would shake the foundations of the world.
