Chapter 135: Arrival at Ryūchi Cave
After discussing the ruling policy of Amegakure,
the meeting ended swiftly.
Uchiha Yuta glanced at Konan, who had fallen unconscious, and let out a silent sigh.
In the original timeline,
Konan was a tragic figure—slain by the masked man, Uchiha Obito.
But now,
her fate had taken a different turn.
Whether she would emerge stronger from this trial depended solely on her.
On this matter, even Uchiha Yuta couldn't intervene.
"Let me take her,"
Tsunade stood and said with a small smile.
"If she never faces adversity, she'll never see a rainbow. Her endurance is still too fragile."
"Alright,"
Uchiha Yuta nodded in agreement, recalling that Tsunade's own past bore similarities to Konan's.
"When she wakes up, I'll speak with her," he added, a trace of guilt flashing in his eyes.
"Whatever you want..."
Yuta shrugged indifferently.
"I'm done here."
Tsunade smiled and stepped forward, hoisting Konan over her shoulder before striding out of the conference room.
"Lady Hokage, don't worry. I'll help her recover,"
said Jiraiya, watching Tsunade's retreating figure. He took a deep breath and made a solemn vow before leaving the room as well.
"Amegakure has been annexed... the original plot is now completely rewritten,"
Uchiha Yuta muttered, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Now it's up to Obito and Black Zetsu to make their move."
"System, I want to use a check-in opportunity with benefits."
Soon after,
Yuta, seated calmly in a chair, issued a silent command.
By now,
he was already one of the strongest beings below the Six Paths level.
He had high hopes and yearning for the true Six Paths realm.
Ever since acquiring the Yin–Yang Release, a secret inheritance from the Sage of Six Paths, that desire had only intensified.
Of course,
Uchiha Yuta had already attempted a breakthrough into the Six Paths realm—
But every time, he felt some invisible force suppressing him. It was always just out of reach, as if someone or something was deliberately holding him back.
And he had a very good idea who that might be.
"Ding! Host, random teleportation is about to begin. Confirm?"
"Yes. Do it."
Poof!!
In a swirl of smoke, Uchiha Yuta vanished from the conference room.
---
Ryūchi Cave—
one of the Three Great Sage Regions, alongside Mount Myōboku and Shikkotsu Forest.
It was a sacred and dangerous place, said to house the descendants of the great serpents from the time of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
Its ancient founder, the White Snake Sage, was revered as an immortal being who had lived for over a thousand years.
Deep within one of Ryūchi Cave's hidden chambers,
a massive, one-eyed red serpent lay curled up, cultivating its own version of Sage Mode.
This snake was Shin'ya—
a bloodthirsty beast known for its aggression, having lost one eye in battle.
Even the White Snake Sage allowed it to roam freely, though most of the other serpents despised it and kept their distance.
"When can I get out of here?"
Shin'ya muttered, twisting its massive body. Bored, it planned to harass the other serpents to pass the time.
Poof!!!
Suddenly, space twisted and shimmered.
A figure appeared within Shin'ya's den—
A human, dressed in the robe of a Hokage.
"A human?"
Shin'ya was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized what was happening.
A human… here? In his lair?
"A gift from the heavens?"
Shin'ya grinned cruelly.
"Finally, I can taste human flesh again."
Without hesitation, it lunged forward, jaws wide open, revealing sharp fangs and bloody breath.
---
Meanwhile, Uchiha Yuta had just started to sense the rich flow of natural energy in Ryūchi Cave.
"So much natural energy... huh?"
But before he could take it in, a foul stench rushed toward him.
He looked up—just in time to see a massive, open maw descending upon him.
"What the hell—!?"
Without thinking, Uchiha Yuta clenched his fist and threw a punch.
BOOM!!
Though it looked like a simple blow,
the sheer power behind it cracked the very air like shattered glass.
A burst of glowing energy surged forward, tearing through Shin'ya's skull and body in a split second.
SPLAT!!!
The snake's flesh exploded violently.
It didn't even have time to scream.
The light had shattered it completely.
---
The entire Ryūchi Cave shook.
Every serpent inside froze—
their senses detecting something impossible.
A human had appeared in the deepest part of the cave.
And then... Shin'ya's life force vanished in an instant.
The cave erupted into chaos.
None of them were fools.
They all realized:
someone had entered Ryūchi Cave...
And killed one of their strongest kin in the blink of an eye.
And now, their legendary sanctuary was under threat.
