Bailey sobbed softly as she clung to Harry's arm.
"Brother Harry, you have to believe me. I love you. I would never do anything to harm you."
Seeing Bailey's pitiful little face, Harry's heart softened.
He raised his hand and gently wiped away the tears on Bailey's face. "Let's go to bed. This matter is over. No one should bring it up again."
Bailey leaned lightly against Harry's chest, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Brother Harry, will you ever leave me? My sister schemes so much, I'm really scared that one day even you won't want me anymore."
Her voice was choked with tears, making anyone who heard it feel a pang of sympathy.
Harry gently patted her head. "We're already engaged. What are you worrying about?"
"Alright, with Brother Harry saying that, I feel at ease. Let's go to bed."
"Okay."
To be honest, the reason Harry shifted his affections to Bailey was because of her understanding and obedience. When she was upset, a few words were enough to cheer her up.
Most importantly, she always listened to him. If he told her to go east, she wouldn't dare go west.
But Julia was too stubborn, so stubborn that even a man like him couldn't handle it!
Once she made up her mind, there was no changing it.
"Oh, by the way, the endorsement deal for 'Sakura Love' has been secured. You've always liked that brand, right? This time, you can be their spokesperson."
Despite the events of today, Harry felt that Julia had orchestrated the situation.
However, he couldn't deny his own responsibility. If he hadn't still harbored feelings for Julia, he wouldn't have fallen into her trap. The one who suffered the most from this was Bailey.
Seeing her fiancé in bed with another woman, yet still having to put on a brave face and entertain guests, was truly unfair to her.
"Really?" Bailey's eyes lit up. 'Sakura Love' was a rapidly growing cosmetics brand that had swiftly gained market share in recent years. Many actresses were fond of it.
Although it wasn't on par with top international brands, 'Sakura Love' was a standout in the cosmetics industry.
In previous years, the brand's spokespersons were always well-known figures. 'Sakura Love' excelled in advertising, with each year's commercials being particularly stunning. The current popular star, Lila, was an unknown actress until she landed an endorsement for 'Sakura Love.' One commercial catapulted her to fame.
Therefore, many actresses, especially those in the rising phase of their careers, would do anything to secure an endorsement with 'Sakura Love.'
"We'll sign the contract in a few days."
"That's fantastic! Brother Harry, you're the best!" Bailey hugged Harry, like a gentle kitten.
Harry didn't say anything. This was the most he could do for her. Tonight was their engagement night, and with one foot already in the door of marriage, there were naturally many things to attend to.
After a passionate night, Harry had already fallen asleep.
Bailey lay in bed, too excited to sleep.
Her plan today was originally just to have her mother give Julia a hard time, making sure she wouldn't dare to go after Harry again. She also wanted the Edwards Family to strictly forbid Harry from seeing Julia.
This way, she could effectively sever their relationship and eliminate her worries.
She didn't expect to gain so much more.
Yasmine gave her the family heirloom bracelet, which meant her position as the future Mrs. Edwards was secure.
She also landed the endorsement for "Sakura Love," which could potentially skyrocket her career.
She was absolutely thrilled!
Julia, you want to compete with me?
Ha, dream on!

Prism City
The next morning, Julia was awakened by the ringing of her phone. It was a call from the crew, informing her that due to scheduling conflicts with other actors, she didn't need to return to the set just yet and could continue her break. They would notify her of the exact return date later.
Julia smiled faintly, feeling grateful for the small mercy.
Although her body injuries would be hidden under her costume, her swollen face was impossible to film with.
For an actress, her face was everything.
She was relieved the crew extended her break; otherwise, she wouldn't know how to explain her condition.
Julia suddenly frowned. Something was off!
She quickly got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom, turning her back to the mirror.
There were signs of ointment applied on her back!
Last night, she could only reach certain areas to apply the ointment herself, but now even the spots she couldn't reach had been treated!
She went back to her room and noticed that the ointment on the nightstand had significantly decreased.
Someone had definitely helped her apply it.
Zoey?
Impossible!
Remembering how Zoey had once put chili powder in her medicine, there was no way she would be so kind.
That left only one person—her husband.
Julia picked out a loose, comfortable outfit from the wardrobe, quickly freshened up, and went downstairs.
Zoey was already up and making breakfast in the kitchen.
Since Julia had been hospitalized with a high fever last time, Zoey had started cooking for her, albeit reluctantly.
Seeing Julia awake, Zoey glanced at her.
"Go wait outside! It's early in the morning, and I still have to take care of you!" Zoey grumbled as she stirred the porridge in the pot.
"Did Mr. Butler come back last night?" Julia asked.
Zoey immediately turned around at the question.
"Julia, are you out of your mind? Mr. Butler is so busy; how could he possibly come back?!"
"Oh." Julia turned around, ready to leave without another word.
"Hey! Get back here! How are your injuries?"
She had put chili powder in the ointment, expecting Julia to be in unbearable pain!
Julia turned back, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Thanks to you, I'm doing quite well. I've been staying home and cooking three good meals a day."
With that, Julia walked into the living room.
"Hey! You—" Zoey stomped her foot in frustration. She was acting like she owned the place!
Ugh!
But why didn't the chili powder work? It should have!
Julia sat down on the living room sofa. She was certain her husband had come home last night. There was no one else who could have applied the ointment for her.
He must have come home late and didn't have time to tell her or Zoey. He probably intended to sleep with her but found her covered in injuries.
Instead of forcing himself on her, he applied the ointment.
This made Julia quite pleased.
She picked up her phone and sent him a message.
