Chapter 140: This Humble Taoist Knows a Little Fisticuffs
The sky was dim, and the pervasive fog made the island feel sinister and eerie, sending a chill down one's spine.
At the center of Thriller Bark were several ancient castles, surrounded by a forest that extended to the shore. The outermost layer was a wall encircling the entire ship.
The Merry was currently in the massive waterway between the high wall and the island. Everyone on board was ready. Sanji had finished packing Luffy's pirate bento and came out.
"Well then, let's assign tasks properly."
Looking at the dark forest in the distance, Sanji couldn't help but ask, "How many people are going ashore? Are we going together or splitting up? How should we form teams?"
Although their crew was very strong now, there was a Warlord here after all, so they still had to be as careful as possible.
"A plan, huh? It seems a bit redundant now."
Reiner pointed to a figure rushing wildly in the distance and said faintly, "As the saying goes, plans can't keep up with Luffy. You can never guess what he'll do next."

Soon, apart from the undead left to guard the ship, there was no one else on the Merry.
The fog gradually thickened, seeming to spread towards the island as if it had a life of its own.
Reiner led the cowardly trio towards the forest. Nami and Usopp clung to his arms, one on each side, while Chopper sat on his shoulder, hugging his head.
The three of them trembled, constantly looking around. A flock of bats flapped their wings and skimmed over their heads, scaring them into a shiver, their faces pale.
"Hey, Chopper and I are one thing, but Nami, you're being a bit much, aren't you? You're a Logia user."
"Exactly! Nami, you're so strong already!"
Chopper protested vehemently, "Later on, you'll distract Reiner so he can't protect us properly!"
"Cut the crap! Can't I just be scared!"
Nami grumbled, "Who knows how scary those zombies are!"
Cowardice is cowardice; it really doesn't have much to do with strength.
"Awooo!!"
A wolf's howl suddenly rang out, making the three of them hug even tighter in fright.
Unknowingly, they had reached the edge of the forest. A very deep trench appeared before them, about three to four meters wide, built of stone bricks.
Due to the thick fog, it was difficult to see clearly inside. The wolf howl just now had come from below.
"Hey, do you guys feel like the fog is getting thicker?"
Nami looked down tremblingly. Countless red lights glinted in the darkness, as if many ferocious beasts were staring at them.
"We should hurry up and go."
Nami pointed into the distance, "We can go around that way..."
"Awooo!!"
Just as her voice fell, a dark shadow leaped out from the trench below!
The group immediately ducked, and the shadow flew over their heads, landing behind them.
Having dodged the sudden attack, they immediately turned around in panic to look at the attacker!
A beast taller than a human stood on all fours, its body covered in bulging muscles. A strong, powerful hind leg continuously scraped the ground, kicking up dust.
Dense stitches covered its body. Six eyes glinted fiercely, and it bared its sharp fangs, staring at them menacingly. What was shocking was that it actually had three heads – two blue and one yellow!
"It's Cerberus!!!"
The cowardly trio screamed in panic, their faces turning green with fright.
"Roar!"
Cerberus roared, revealing a row of snow-white sharp teeth, and charged at them on all fours.
"Reiner, go get him!!" The three shouted in terror, clinging to him tightly.
Reiner was speechless. "Then let go of me, will you!"
Before he could finish, Nami kicked him straight out.
As soon as he steadied himself, Reiner looked at the ferocious monster charging at him, baring its fangs and claws. He flicked his robe sleeve, drew the peach wood sword from his back, brought the fingers of his left hand together and wiped them along the blade, then grinned and charged forward.
He was about to put on a show!
"Heaven is efficacious! Earth is efficacious! Spirits from all four corners and eight directions, reveal yourselves!"
Reiner rushed forward with light, quick steps, his right arm bent, the peach wood sword pointing directly at the three-headed dog.
In the blink of an eye, he was in front of it. He leaped lightly, his robe fluttering in mid-air, and thrust the sword tip downwards with force at its head!
"Fiend! Taste my sword!"
The wooden sword, wrapped in flowing wind, stabbed down with extreme speed as if tearing through the air. With a 'squelch,' it directly pierced its head!
"Awooo!!"
The stabbed dog head immediately let out a mournful howl.
However, the other two heads opened their blood-red maws, their faces ferocious, their fangs glinting coldly as they were about to bite down on him!
"Beast! Don't be impudent!"
Reiner placed his feet on the middle dog's head, released the peach wood sword, raised his arms, his muscles instantly bulging. He thrust his palms out fiercely.
Bang! Bang!
The biting heads slammed into his palms but seemed to hit an invisible air wall, instantly stopped in their tracks!
Reiner curled his fingers, gripping the two heads tightly by flesh and fur. He pulled his arms inward, and the two ferocious heads, one blue and one yellow, smashed violently against each other!
Bang!
"Aooow!!"
Saliva flew from the three-headed dog as it howled towards the sky!
He lifted his leg straight up, then brought it down fiercely on the dog's head, a powerful blow slamming onto it!
Bang!!
The impact sent the three heads smashing into the ground, creating a deep pit. Cracks spread out like a spiderweb, stirring up a thick cloud of smoke.
His figure floated down from the air, his long robe dancing wildly with the gust of wind. The tips of his toes tapped lightly on the ground, leaving the three with the image of a master's back.
Reiner turned his head and grinned, "Done!"
"What kind of lousy Taoist priest are you!!"
Nami, Chopper, and Usopp all bared their teeth and shouted, "You clearly just used your fists!!!"
Nonsense, did you think I actually know Taoist magic?
Reiner raised a fist and smiled lightly, "Although I don't know Taoist magic, still, I do know a little bit of fisticuffs."
