After dinner,
Hye-jin and Yeonjun were busy gathering dishes from the table. Meanwhile, Sooyaa and Taehyung stood side by side at the kitchen sink an oddly perfect image of opposites working in sync.
Taehyung carefully applied soap to each plate, sliding them over to Sooyaa, who washed them with a focused ease.
"I must say," Sooyaa said, glancing sideways with a teasing smile, "it's an honor to be washing dishes with a multi-billionaire."
Taehyung chuckled under his breath. "It's my pleasure. I only wash dishes with good people."
Her brow lifted playfully. "Oh? That sounds dangerously like a compliment."
Before he could answer, Kang Hye-jin's voice rang out from the living room.
"Yeonjun! Stop playing with the vacuum cleaner!"
"I'm not playing!" Yeonjun shouted back. "I'm cleaning! This..this is what perfection looks like!"
Sooyaa giggled, shaking her head. "We should give them an award. Chaos, category.
Taehyung smirked. "Only if there's an award for CEOs who do the dishes."
She laughed again. "You'd win by default."
Just then, a stray soap bubble floated up and landed softly on Taehyung's cheek.
"Look!" Sooyaa pointed, eyes twinkling. "You've got… foam face."
Without thinking, she reached over and gently wiped it away with her sleeve. Taehyung met her eyes, his voice softer now.
"Thank you."
And before she could step back, he dipped a finger in the soap water and dabbed a dot of foam on her cheek.
"Yah!" Sooyaa gasped. "You wait...revenge is coming!"
She scooped up a small handful of soap and leaned in to swipe it across his arm, both of them now laughing over the sink as if the world beyond that moment didn't exist.
From the living room, Yeonjun peeked around the corner. "Are they seriously playing with soap?"
After all the cleaning was done, the four of them finally collapsed around the low table in the living room. The dishes were washed, the counters wiped down, and the vacuum was thankfully back in its place. Yeonjun placed an empty glass bottle in the center of the table with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Alright," he said, rubbing his hands together. "Time for the classic. Let's play truth or dare."
Yeonjun spun the bottle. It twirled quickly at first, then slowed, and eventually landed on... himself.
He blinked. "Me? First?"
Hye-jin smirked and held up two fingers. "Truth or dare. Choose."
Yeonjun tapped her right finger without hesitation.
"Dare," she said, grinning as she reached for a glass jar beside the table. It was filled with rolled-up slips of paper.
"Wait, when did you prepare that?" Sooyaa asked, amused.
"I have my ways," Hye-jin replied mysteriously, shaking the jar.
Yeonjun reached in, plucked out one slip, and unrolled it. His expression shifted brows raised, a slow smile tugging at his lips.
Then, he leaned closer to Hye-jin and whispered something into her ear.
Her eyes widened instantly. "Are you serious?"
Sooyaa looked between them, suspicious. "Hey, what does it say? No secrets!"
Yeonjun sat back, holding the paper up casually. "It says… 'Kiss someone in this room.'"
Sooyaa's jaw dropped. "Ohhh! That's bold."
Yeonjun stood up slowly, dramatic as always. He paced around the table, looking at each of them with narrowed eyes playfully intense.
Then, suddenly, Yeonjun stopped behind Taehyung.
Taehyung glanced over his shoulder. "What are you doing?"
Yeonjun said "nothing". He simply leaned down and kissed Taehyung on the cheek.
"Yah!" Taehyung yelped, jerking away. "Are you crazy?!"
"I'm just following the rules," Yeonjun said, returning to his seat with a smug grin. "It said 'kiss someone in this room,' and I did."
Sooyaa burst out laughing, clutching her stomach. "I didn't see that coming!"
"You're a menace," Taehyung muttered, wiping his cheek in horror.
Yeonjun clapped his hands, clearly enjoying the chaos he had just caused. "Alright, next victim!"
He reached forward and spun the bottle with flair. The glass twirled on the table, clinking lightly as everyone leaned in, eyes following the spin. It slowed... then stopped.
Sooyaa.
Her eyes widened. "Me?"
Yeonjun's eyes sparkled. "Yes, Ms. Park. Truth or dare?"
Hye-jin leaned in with a smirk. "Truth might be safer. Unless you're feeling brave."
Sooyaa straightened her back. "Dare."
"Oooooh," Yeonjun grinned, impressed. "We've got a bold one."
He handed her the glass jar with the rolled-up dares.
"Pick your destiny," he said dramatically.
Sooyaa rolled her eyes, reached in, and pulled out a slip of paper. She unrolled it slowly while the others watched with growing curiosity.
Her brows lifted as she read the words aloud."Say a flirty line to the person sitting beside you… with a flirty expression?"
