Ariel would not lie. Picking out the rings with Tristan was the last clear memory that she actually had. After that, it felt as though everything around her had switched to super speed.
It had all gone by so fast. Getting measured for her dress. Meeting with the chefs who would cook the wedding food. Some of whom she had only ever thought she would see on TV( it had taken everything in her to not start squealing like the absolute fan that she was).
Then there had been the wedding rehearsals, often held in the middle of the night. While those had been tiring, Ariel had at least been grateful that they did not have that many people, just herself, her brother.
On Tristan's side there had been him and Lucy. There would be no groomsmen and no bridesmaids.
"Won't people be suspicious if we are lacking all of those?" Ariel had asked Tristan and he had shaken his head.
