Kayla pointed to the man-made lake and exclaimed, "Kayden, look! This lake is so beautiful. I like it!"
She liked this lake very much because there were many kinds of fish in it. With their various colors, shapes and sizes, it was a feast for the eyes just to watch them swim in the lake. But Kayla thought something was missing from this lake. She turned to Leo and asked, "Daddy, can we add other kinds of fish to the lake? Like herrings, trouts, grass carp, crucian carp and tuna?"
Leo thought Kayla had raised this question because she didn't like the types of fish in the lake, and so he asked, "You don't think these fish are pretty?"
"It's not that." Kayla shook her head, "These fish can't be eaten."
Leo was at a loss for words. Ever since he was reunited with his kids, he had ensured that they did not lack in anything, food included. So, Kayla couldn't possibly have the chance of going hungry, and yet Kayla still could relate food with living things whenever she saw them.
