Nyros returned to slashing, his movements fierce but beginning to slow.
He pushed them back—step by step—and eventually gained enough distance to unleash another inferno.

The center line disintegrated once more, but the sides—always the sides—burned and kept coming.
And so, after cutting down yet another wave of twisted horrors, Nyros began to edge away slightly from Liseria's position, creating just enough space between them.
He clapped his hands once more.
