Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: King-Class Pokémon

Froslass was completely unaware of the danger approaching.

At that moment, she had fully unleashed her power, pouring all her Ice-type energy into her attack.

As her Powder Snow continued to intensify, it transformed into a full-blown Blizzard. The icy wind howled, and with the help of the weather, she was slowly starting to suppress her opponent.

A look of excitement appeared on her face—Froslass intended to end the battle then and there.

But just then, a sudden surge of excruciating pain erupted through her entire body.

The energy she had been building up instantly shattered!

Completely bewildered, Froslass had no idea what had just happened.

Struggling to turn around, she saw Sneasel behind her—its eyes filled with a gleeful, sinister satisfaction at having successfully ambushed her.

Whoooosh!

The Blizzard dissolved in an instant, and the Twister whipped through the air, catching Froslass in midair and dragging her into its spiraling winds!

"Got her!"

From a distance, Hill clenched his fist in excitement after witnessing the scene.

Hit by the combined full-force assault of two powerful Pokémon—even if that Froslass survived, she'd surely be left in tatters!

In the air, Staraptor hovered confidently, while Sneasel, now back on the ground, also believed the battle was over.

Their coordinated strike would be difficult for even a same-tier Pokémon to withstand.

Let's finish this…

Determined to end it, Staraptor channeled more energy into the Twister, making it even larger and more destructive.

On the ground, Sneasel was also preparing a follow-up move, planning to land a final, fatal blow once the Twister subsided.

The Twister howled wildly through the air.

But just as it reached its peak power, it suddenly froze in place.

A moment later, the fierce winds abruptly shattered apart—and Froslass' figure reappeared in midair!

On the ground, Sneasel, ready to strike, froze in shock—but didn't hesitate for long.

Its figure flickered and vanished, reappearing silently behind Froslass once more, claws gleaming with dark energy.

It aimed a Night Slash right at her back.

But the moment Sneasel raised its claws—it suddenly couldn't move.

Its raised arm was suspended in the air, completely frozen mid-strike.

No matter how hard it tried, it couldn't bring the attack down!

Confused and alarmed, Sneasel looked forward—and that's when it saw something horrifying: thick gray mist was continuously pouring out of Froslass' body!

Then, Froslass slowly turned her head, her eyes cold and indifferent as she stared back at Sneasel.

In an instant, an overwhelming sense of terror surged in Sneasel's heart.

It watched helplessly as the gray mist slowly crept toward it, engulfing its entire body!

From above, Staraptor witnessed the terrifying scene, and even its sharp eagle eyes showed clear fear.

Its first instinct was to fly away—but no matter how hard it tried, its wings wouldn't move at all.

It felt frozen, paralyzed entirely. Only its mind remained active—its body no longer obeyed.

Then, it saw Froslass turn toward it.

With a simple motion of her hand, a mass of gray mist gathered and began condensing into a sphere of terrifying energy.

The gray mist rapidly transformed into an energy orb, growing larger and larger—until it was nearly the same size as Staraptor itself!

Once fully formed, Froslass calmly glanced at Staraptor—and with a casual wave of her hand, launched it.

BOOM!

It sounded like the very fabric of space was tearing apart.

The energy sphere floated forward, slow but unstoppable, releasing terrifying pressure in every direction.

To Staraptor, time seemed to stretch endlessly—but in truth, the orb reached it in mere moments and swallowed it whole.

BOOM!!!

A massive explosion erupted.

A small mushroom cloud bloomed in the sky, and the shockwave swept across the landscape!

From within the explosion, a single figure was thrown violently through the air, crashing downward toward the ground—brown feathers scattering in the sky.

"What happened?! What the hell just happened?!"

In the distance, Hill stood frozen. The smile had vanished from his face—his expression one of complete shock.

Just moments ago, Staraptor and Sneasel had clearly held the upper hand.

They had nearly killed that Froslass.

But in the blink of an eye, that same Froslass—whose power had seemed only equal to Staraptor's—had suddenly erupted with overwhelming strength, instantly defeating both of his Pokémon!

It was a slaughter. An absolute, one-sided massacre.

From the way the battle played out, it was now obvious—Staraptor and Sneasel weren't even on the same level as this Froslass.

"A King-Class Pokémon… That Froslass is definitely a King-Class Pokémon!"

Hill's voice trembled, filled with despair and fear.

(TN: Ok, I don't fking know what level this is, it maybe Advanced Level, Overlord Level, or something below, between or above. If you guys know what chapter where you read Overlord level let me know please.)

He stared blankly at where Staraptor had crashed.

A large crater had formed where it landed.

Staraptor's body was battered and broken, with most of its feathers torn away.

There was no way it could survive. That terrifying gray energy orb had far exceeded its limits.

Hill then looked toward the airborne Sneasel.

As the gray mist slowly dissipated, the force that had been holding Sneasel in place vanished.

Its lifeless body dropped like a stone, slamming into the ground with a heavy thud—motionless.

"Staraptor… Sneasel…"

Hill's voice shook as he called out quietly.

They were dead.

He didn't even need to check—he knew they had both died… killed by that Froslass.

Howl! Howl!

Beside Hill, only his Mightyena remained—and it, too, was trembling violently.

It could feel the overwhelming pressure from the figure floating in the air.

It just wanted to escape.

With that thought, Mightyena grabbed its dazed trainer by the clothes and dragged him onto its back.

It ran as fast as it could, fleeing the mountain and racing away from the Black Forest.

Back above the forest, Froslass remained still.

After taking down Staraptor and Sneasel, her eyes turned toward the gray mist lingering in the Black Forest below.

With a wave of her hand, the gray mist churned violently, surging upward and spiraling into her body—forming a vortex of consumption!

It didn't take long before the entire Grey Mist in the Black Forest had been completely devoured.

As the last of it vanished, Froslass' cold, emotionless eyes suddenly flickered—she looked around in confusion.

What… what happened to me?

The question echoed in her mind.

She glanced down at the fallen Staraptor and Sneasel—then, all at once, a flood of memories returned, and her whole body trembled.

In the heat of battle, faced with danger, she had instinctively activated her Ghost-type power…

"Oh no… I accidentally unleashed the mist… oh no, oh no… it's terrifying… so terrifying…"

Now that she realized it, a wave of panic surged through her heart.

Just like Aven had warned: once she used her Ghost-type power, the mist came flooding out—and she lost control, becoming someone else entirely.

It was truly terrifying.
