Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 : Bachiko..Our new Training teacher !!

[Tutor Declarations – Overlaid Montage]

A dramatic wind howled as each of the tutors stood posed against intense backdrops, boldly declaring their ambitions for their students.

Sergent Furfur (arms crossed, shades glinting):

"These brats will become the craftiest first-years at Babyls. Deception, tactics, manipulation—they'll never lose."

(Jazz and Alocer gulp as contracts swirl around them like whirlwinds.)

Lady Vepar (surrounded by tidal waves and sobbing):

"Sniff My babies will have the most advanced bloodline techniques among all the first-years!"

(Goemon activates a glowing sigil on his arm. Agarres levitates a boulder with eerie precision.)

Balaam (monotonously, arms behind his back):

"Asmodeus and Sabnock will become the strongest combatants in their year. No contest."

(Explosions ripple as Sabnock punches through magma. Asmodeus channels controlled flame from his palm.)

Mr. Hat (whipping his cane down with flair):

"These two will be the most elegant summoners Babyls has seen!"

(Camui attempts to summon a beast and gets tangled in feathers. Kerori summons a perfect magical beast in secret.)

Raim-sensei (spinning, sparkles flying):

"And these darlings? They'll be the most charming, dazzling, and devastatingly sexy demons in this school~!"

(Elizabetta pouts stylishly. Clara trips, then strikes a dazzling accidental pose.)

[Robin Balse's Training Ground – Outskirts of Babyls]

Robin runs across a grassy training field with theatrical flourish, holding a banner that reads:

FIGHTING SPIRIT IS EVERYTHING!!!

Behind him, Iruma and Lied jog hesitantly, eyes filled with quiet dread.

Robin (gleeful):

"Your road to Rank 4 starts here! First, let's scream it out loud! YELL YOUR GOAL TO THE SKY!!"

Lied (quietly):

"…I want to survive this."

Iruma (half-hearted):

"…I need to get better"

Robin strikes a pose atop a rock, his cape billowing in the wind.

"Louder! With more passion! Fight with your SOUUUL!"

As Robin continues shouting motivational slogans, Iruma slows to a stop behind a bush. He glances at his surroundings, then slips his phone out of his pocket. His expression softens.

He begins to type:

Sorry Ameri-san. I won't be able to attend our reading sessions for a while. I'll be training for the Harvest Festival. I'm really sorry. I hope you understand.

He hesitates… then presses Send.

[ Student Council Office – Evening Glow]

Ameri Azazel sits at her desk, elbows propped on paperwork, staring out the window as the sun begins to dip below the horizon. Her brows are furrowed, cheeks slightly puffed.

Why is it so hard to talk to him now? Is it because everyone else likes him too? Or… is it me?

She gazes at a stack of books beside her—First Love Memory on top. Her hand drifts to it unconsciously.

Ameri (thinking):

That date… under the cherry tree… it really was like something out of a manga.

But ever since Walter Park, everyone looks at him differently. And now…

Ping.

Her phone buzzes. She snatches it up quickly. Her eyes widen.

"Forgive me, Ameri-san. I can't attend our reading sessions for some time.."

She exhales slowly, her eyes scanning every word. Her lips curl into a gentle, understanding smile.

Ameri (thinking):

You're trying your best, aren't you? Just like the hero in First Love Memory... when he left for space...

She clutches the phone close to her chest.

"Then I'll wait. And cheer you on from here."

She gently opens her manga and returns to the bookmarked page, the corners of her lips still lifted.

Ameri (softly):

"Do your best, Iruma."

[ Royal One Classroom – Midday]

The grand doors of the Royal One creaked open again as Robin-sensei led Iruma and Lied inside. The normally bustling room was empty, echoing their footsteps.

Robin (cheerfully):

"This'll be your training ground! Special permission from the top. Oh—and I invited someone very reliable to help!"

He puffed out his chest, beaming with pride.

Robin:

"She's family! Strong, smart, and super cool! You'll love her. I call her—"

WHAM!!

Robin was suddenly sent flying across the room, spinning like a top, before crashing headfirst into a stack of desks.

Perched atop a table, crouching like a gangster, was a short demon girl with long reddish-pink hair, sharp canines, and the aura of a ticking time bomb.

Bachiko (flatly):

"Tch. You're late. I've been waiting for ten minutes."

She cracked her knuckles, glaring down at Iruma and Lied like they owed her money.

Bachiko (grumbling):

"I wouldn't even be here if your gramps Sullivan didn't beg me. This better be worth it."

Iruma (bowing hastily):

"Ohh Please!"

Lied (on his knees):

"We're desperate! Robin-sensei is… not enough…"

Robin weakly raised a peace sign from the rubble.

Bachiko (squinting):

"…Tch. Fine. But I don't take weaklings. You wanna earn my mentorship? Then prove you're worth the effort."

[Bachiko's "Training"]

The next sequence was a whirlwind of chaos and humiliation.

Lied carries Bachiko on his back like a palanquin across the hallways of Babyls. She sips soda through a straw, unimpressed.

Iruma scrubs classroom walls, I repainted them from black to gold—only for Bachiko to call it 'tacky' and make me redo it.

The two run through town buying her snacks, only to be berated for not getting the limited-edition spicy squid chips.

Cross-dressing horror: Iruma and Lied, dressed in frilly maid uniforms, are made to perform a tea ceremony.

Bachiko (laughing):

"You call that a curtsy?! Embarrassing! Again!"

Throughout it all, Iruma and Lied endure with clenched teeth, knowing their pride is the price for progress.

[Royal One Classroom – Evening]

The camera zooms out on an ornate tea table set up in the middle of the classroom. Iruma and Lied, both still in their maid outfits, sit stiffly on either side of a smug-looking Bachiko, who lounges like royalty.

They sip tea awkwardly.

Bachiko (grinning):

"Not bad. You've got more backbone than I thought."

Iruma (thinking, deadpan):

"Is this really training? I should've just gone to Miss Amaryllis. Damn that old man… why'd he drag me into this?"

Lied (thinking, exhausted):

How is this helping with the Harvest Festival...?My Rank...is 3.

Robin peeked in from the door, still bandaged.

"Looking good, boys!"

Iruma and Lied (in unison, flatly):

"Shut up, Robin-sensei."
