Riven glanced at her with anger, then glanced back at the figure that seemed to have moved closer to them and noticed a smirk tugging at the side of its lips.
He wanted to run, but it felt like his body wanted the opposite, like it had finally met a worthy opponent strong enough to keep it excited.
The Reclaimer seemed to be overly excited as well—its smirk widening with every second that passed—but it didn't attack, and that's what terrified Riven more.
What the hell was it waiting for? That grin—it wasn't hunger, it was amusement. Like it was enjoying his fear.
Riven thought over and over as he stood there, terrified, his body not moving an inch.
