Chapter 90 - OPRS: Chapter 90

Alistair's orders were swiftly carried out.

As the strongest on Skypiea, his words were divine.

The residents of God's Island gathered quickly.

They lived in the heart of God's Island, the families of the priests. After Enel took over, they were moved to Angel Island.

Now, everyone gathered, tending to their injured husbands, fathers, and sons.

Fortunately, Enel needed them to build the Ark Maxim; they only fainted and quickly recovered.

"Hancock, unpetrify him." Alistair instructed Hancock while tending to the priests.

Hancock, without question, snapped her fingers, freeing Enel.

"What happened?!" Enel awoke, finding himself in God's residence, the battleground.

He was confused.

Being petrified and watching others be petrified were different.

It felt like time travel.

Surreal.

"You were petrified." No one bothered to explain to the arrogant Enel.

Only Alistair, kindly, explained.

He also explained why Enel couldn't use his powers. "You're wearing Seastone cuffs and shackles; they neutralize Devil Fruit abilities."

"No wonder I'm powerless." Enel slumped among some fruit, chuckling wryly; his reaction was worse than Luffy's initial encounter with Seastone—Alistair had doubled the dose.

"What do you want?" Enel, despite his predicament, maintained his composure.

He was a strong leader, intelligent, resourceful, and powerful.

He ousted Gan Fall, not by killing him, but by replacing him, using the priests as tools. He took Shandora's gold to build his Ark Maxim, achieving his goals.

Did the Straw Hats win?

From their perspective, yes.

But from a broader view, Enel controlled Angel Island for years, building his Ark Maxim; the final battle was an afterthought; his goals were achieved regardless of the outcome.

Enel was cunning.

Before his ship launched, he likely fought Luffy casually.

"Your combat power is wasted," Alistair said, crouching before him.

"Did you use this to recruit them?" Enel sneered; this lacked sincerity.

"No, Hancock and I are truly in love," Hancock blushed, leaning into Dalton's arms.

"Ace became strong after joining us."

"Join us, Enel, become our strength." Alistair offered, but Enel sneered.

"Who do you think I am?! My goal is the limitless land! I won't join you!"

He was clever; mentioning the limitless land tested Alistair's knowledge and intentions.

He was arrogant; he never mentioned the limitless land to Luffy, but he did to Alistair.

Alistair looked at the gathered villagers. "We'll discuss this later."

The Shandorians and Sky Islanders stood separately.

Angel Island had over two thousand residents, mostly families; the priests were young Sky Islanders, fighting the Shandorians.

They were enemies.

Without Alistair, they'd fight.

The Sky Islanders, lacking combat power, fearfully watched the Shandorians, seeing them as barbarians.

Anyone would be angry: their ancestors lost half their land to a natural disaster, were driven out by newcomers, and now they were seen as barbarians.

But Wyper showed remarkable leadership, restraining the Shandorians.

He knew, with the chief absent, these thirty warriors represented the Shandorians.

Arguing with the defeated Sky Islanders was pointless; their future depended on the well-organized pirates, curiously observing the Sky Islanders.

Or, more accurately, the youth they protected.

Other things were irrelevant.

Alistair left Enel and approached the entrance.

"You all know what happened."

"Simply put,"

"We will rule Skypiea." Going to the masses, then leading them, was a wise saying.

But this needed adaptation.

Alistair, straightforward, stated his intentions.

Unlike Enel, who used faith as a cover.

"We will implement the following policies…"
