Silas, the introverted billionaire, sat on his golden high chair, exchanging glances with Kurtis and his son, Luka.
"I can now assure you, brother, that Luka has totally broken loose of his connection with Royce. I made sure of that," Kurtis said with a smile, giving Luka a smooth gaze.
"That's good to hear. I was actually wondering why my son was being a fool... But thankfully, he wasn't a fool for too long," Silas said, striking a glance at Luka, who remained silent as he watched them.
"He was initially maintaining the glory of a long friendship, brother. You can't blame him for that. I remember when Father asked you to leave Eddie back in Millsan. He was your best friend then, and you had quite a hard time breaking the friendship. Same thing happened to your son," Kurtis said.
