He was just about to raise his communicator to get in touch with Daniel when, without warning, Daniel appeared directly in front of him—as if stepping out of thin air.
"Your Majesty, Human Emperor," Daniel said with a faint smile, "we meet again."
Despite Daniel's sudden appearance, the Human Emperor's expression didn't so much as flicker. By now, he was far too used to Daniel's mysterious and unpredictable entrances.
"Daniel, don't call me 'Your Majesty' anymore," the Human Emperor replied.
