Chapter 114 - Akira is the Strongest!

The Pokemon body was mainly composed of metal, with a surface that emitted a steely metallic sheen. Its shape somewhat resembled a slightly flattened durian, with many protruding spikes.

On the sides of its body were three long, vine-like green appendages, each tipped with a spiked metal disk.

It was exactly the Pokemon Akira had in mind—the "Grass-Steel" Ferrothorn.

After being enhanced by the Restriction and Vow, Ferrothorn information was fully revealed.

Name: Ferrothorn

Ability: Iron Barbs

Type: Grass, Steel

Strength: B+

Skills: Power Whip, Gyro Ball, Protect, Leech Seed, Toxic...

Ferrothorn base stats also do not reach 500, so like Mega Sableye, it is at B+. It may seem like its strength isn't high, but Ferrothorn true forte lies in its defense.

As one of the main members of a defensive team, Ferrothorn, like Blissey, is a presence that makes enemies' scalps tingle.

With the ability Iron Barbs, any physical contact with Ferrothorn will cause the attacker to lose health in percentage form.

Enemies without long-range attack capabilities might end up killing themselves before they can land a few hits.

Then there's the synergy between its skills.

Leech Seed can sustain Ferrothorn by siphoning the enemy health, leading to victory through attrition. Toxic is used to continuously wear down the opponent, the longer the battle drags on, the slimmer the opponent's chances of winning.

Protect can prevent the opponent from making desperate moves by blocking their ultimate attacks.

When it needs to deal damage, Ferrothorn isn't helpless either, with Power Whip and Gyro Ball being solid options.

Akira defensive team has gained another member.

While Akira was focusing on Ferrothorn, Ging had already clashed with the Brion several times.

The result was still no damage dealt, as all the progress was once again repaired by the Brion.

Akira lowered his gaze, turning to look at the seemingly invincible Brion.

Recalling the earlier description in the Pokédex, he understood the uniqueness of this Brion.

The note for this Brion was "Fusion." Looking at its head, half gold and half silver.

Clearly, it should be composed of both a gold brion and a silver brion. This means that within this Brion, there should be at least two parasitic plants.

Originally, a single parasitic plant, for the best cost-effectiveness, would only occupy the head, leaving the rest of the body as a normal human form. But now with two parasitic plants, not only the head but also other parts of the body have been overrun by plants.

The surface still appears to be a human body, but inside, it's all intertwined branches.

This also explains why this body is noticeably larger than a normal human's.

"Ging, there should be more than one parasitic plant inside this one."

"That's why the entire body is covered with branches, and its healing ability is astonishingly fast."

Pyon, who had been typing non-stop since the battle began, also gathered some information and quickly relayed it to Ging. The rabbit ears that were standing up earlier now drooped, and the pink Aura around Pyon almost entirely converged on the phone.

A series of green digital codes flowed across the rabbit phone screen.

To demonstrate her usefulness, Pyon had been striving to decipher more information.

"Bang!"

Ging crossed his arms in front of him, directly taking the Brion powerful punch, his body involuntarily sliding backward. The intense friction between his shoes and the ground produced a screeching sound, even leaving two marks on the ground.

Shaking his arms, Ging coldly stared at the "unscathed" Brion and muttered in a low voice.

"So, do I need to destroy all parts at once?"

Through these repeated clashes, Ging had roughly formed a hypothesis and Pyon information confirmed it. Perhaps there are more than two parasitic plants inside this Brion, given its incredibly fast recovery ability.

Even when attacked simultaneously by three Gings, the Brion could quickly recover even after losing half of its body.

"But..."

"It doesn't have to be this way."

While maintaining "Gyo" at all times, Ging could clearly observe every change in the Brion body. Although the Brion recovery speed was still fast, the sharp Ging had noticed—the Brion recovery speed was gradually decreasing.

It seemed that such high-intensity recovery consumed a significant amount of its energy, and its speed would only slow down further.

Unless it got replenished.

What could replenish it?

Ging glanced at the herbs on the wall, a hint of conflict flashing in his heart. If his guess was correct, if pushed to the brink, it might actively consume the herbs.

Although the herbs' effect was to cure diseases, if Aura consumption was excessive, they would surely have the effect of replenishing Aura.

In other words, the Brion had to be completely destroyed in an instant, or it might consume the herbs.

Just as Ging was pondering, the Brion head began to glow, with something vaguely flowing on it.

In the next moment, a thick beam of light shot straight at Ging, from charging to firing in an instant.

Ging gathered his thoughts, watching the incoming beam without moving.

Dodging this attack was too simple.

The Brion attacks hardly affected Ging, the real trouble lay in its incredible recovery ability.

Just as Ging was about to move to dodge the beam, another beam suddenly came from the side. This beam had a peculiar color, composed of red, yellow, and blue.

There seemed to be invisible dividing lines between the colors, separating them.

Thus, the Brion green beam was intercepted midway by this tri-colored beam.

Normal-type skill—Tri Attack.

"Boom!!"

The collision of the two powerful beams caused a tremendous noise, lingering for a long time throughout the ancient labyrinth city.

Thick smoke and dust rose into the sky, filling the battlefield with debris from the ground and swirling dust.

"Cough, cough, cough..."

"Next time, could you let me know before switching?"

Ging, covered in dust stood beside Akira, speaking somewhat helplessly, his peripheral vision glancing at the suddenly appearing Hydreigon.

'Another NenBeast that has reached this level!'

Ging didn't even need to sense it much, this Nen Beast didn't hide its presence at all, its full momentum suddenly bursting outward.

It was an extreme dark aura.

Just from this aura, Ging could feel the "evil" of this Nen Beast.

This new Nen Beast was entirely black and blue, with three ferocious heads. What surprised Ging was that he always felt this Nen Beast appearance somewhat resembled a dragon.

So, was this also a dragon-type Nen Beast?

Despite both having dragon-like appearances, Dragonite and Hydreigon gave Ging completely different feelings. Hydreigon aura was much more domineering.

"Just thought you were taking too long, couldn't wait any longer."

Akira smiled, not feeling guilty at all for stealing Ging target.

He had also noticed the Brion flaw, clearly, Ging was about to solve it.

Not only was Akira paying attention to the Brion changes, but Akira had also spotted the clues.

If he waited any longer, Ging might unleash a big move to obliterate the Brion in one strike.

If he were even a step slower, wouldn't his experience be lost?

"ROAR!!!"

The three heads of the dragon simultaneously raised their heads and let out a terrifying roar.

The three dragon heads, with their six eyes, were fixed intently on the Brion the ferocity in their gaze growing increasingly intense.

Before the three-headed dragon could make any move, a bizarre change suddenly occurred on the battlefield.

Strands of sand began to appear out of thin air on the ground, slowly accumulating higher and higher until they covered the entire surface, forming small sand dunes.

A strong wind, seemingly coming from nowhere, whipped up the sand, creating wild, swirling sandstorms.

The grains of sand struck the steel-like sphere of the Brion, producing crisp, ringing sounds.

Seeing this familiar scene, Pyon also stopped typing and stared intently at the battlefield.

Could it be?!

In an instant, a figure suddenly appeared on the battlefield.

Its metallic body resembled a heavy iron tower, entirely dark green in color, with a pair of crimson eyes that seemed intent on destroying everything.

Covered in sharp spikes, its form was reminiscent of Godzilla, exuding an overwhelming domineering aura.

"ROAR!!!"

The giant beast stomped heavily on the newly formed desert, letting out a deafening roar.

The Desert Tyrant—Tyranitar!

Worried that his attacks might not be enough, Akira had even summoned Tyranitar.

His goal was to ensure that the Brion would be obliterated in a single strike.

Together, they would turn every inch of the Brion into dust, leaving it no chance to recover. If the three-headed dragon gave the impression of a dark, malevolent entity, then Tyranitar was the undisputed ruler of the desert, a tyrannical overlord.

As he watched Tyranitar, whose aura was even more domineering than the three-headed dragon, Ging clenched his fist slightly, a glint of battle intent flashing in his eyes.

Once again, he felt the urge to fight Akira.

But the battle intent came and went just as quickly.

After a moment of daze, Ging realized that Akira had already displayed four abilities on par with his own. If they were to fight now, he would undoubtedly be crushed.

His gaze turned toward Akira, who stood beside him, and Ging found himself at a loss for words. Akira display had hit him hard. From what he had seen so far, Akira abilities were undoubtedly worthy of being called the strongest in the six continents.

This wasn't the outdated "strongest" title that Chairman Netero once held.

No, this was the true, undisputed strongest of the six continents.

"So, you still had Nen Beasts you hadn't revealed yet? And you call this just a little bit?"

Ging slowly bent down, gently patting the robe he had placed on the ground earlier to shake off the dust. As he put on the robe, he couldn't help but speak to Akira with a hint of exasperation.

Since Akira had decided to take action, there was no longer any need for him to intervene, so Ging put his robe back on.

Hearing this, Pyon, who had been in a daze, also snapped out of it and nodded in agreement with Ging words.

This was far more than just "a little bit."

Not to mention, each of them is incredibly strong and possesses special abilities.

After speaking, Ging took out another fruit from his small pouch. Although it was also an apple, it felt vastly different. This apple exuded an aura of life, with faint golden lights flickering around it.

At a glance, it was clear that this was no ordinary fruit.

Ging took a gentle bite, and the sweet juice immediately flooded his mouth, flowing down his esophagus to his stomach. The warm current transformed into streams of pure Aura, replenishing the energy Ging had just expended in battle.

Ignoring Ging, who was content to be a spectator, Akira turned his attention back to the Brion ready to claim its experience points.

The Brion stood motionless. It seemed that it would only act if someone attacked it or tried to seize the herb. Otherwise, during their conversation, the Brion could have taken the opportunity to attack.

Was its purpose to protect the herb at all costs and conserve its own energy?

To be more cautious, Akira had Dragonite stand by his side, ready to deliver the finishing blow if the Brion wasn't completely defeated.

With everything prepared, the fate of the Brion was already sealed.

In an instant, a question mark made of Aura suddenly appeared above Hydreigon head.

After swaying for a moment, it dissipated, and Hydreigon aura surged dramatically.

Dark-type move — Nasty Plot

Hydreigon ferocious maw simultaneously emitted a dazzling light, as a powerful beam of energy began to charge.

Three crimson energy spheres suddenly appeared in its mouth, then transformed into the shape of the character "big".

Three massive waves of fiery energy were launched simultaneously in the shape of the character "big".

Fire-type move — Fire Blast

Meanwhile, Tyranitar was not far behind.

With a forceful stomp on the ground, the battlefield shook as if it had been struck by an earthquake. Tyranitar's metallic shell was enveloped in a thick layer of yellow Aura.

Instantly, Tyranitar radiated an aura as heavy as the earth itself. It was as if, standing on the ground, it was invincible, with endless power surging from within. Tyranitar charged toward the Brion with the force of a meteor.

Ground-type move — High Horsepower

Time seemed to stand still at that moment.

An S- rank Fire Blast, enhanced by Nasty Plot, with quadruple effectiveness.

An S rank Ground-type move, High Horsepower, with double effectiveness.

Under the combined assault of Hydreigon and Tyranitar, two powerful Pokemon, it felt as though even space itself was about to shatter.

Sensing the impending crisis, the Brion did not sit idly by, seemingly gathering all its energy.

A thicker, deep green beam of light suddenly formed. However, Blast Burn far surpassed the deep green beam in both power and quantity.

The Brion desperate "last-ditch resistance" only prolonged its pitiful existence by a mere moment.

The terrifying attack landed on the Brion in the blink of an eye.

"BOOM!!!"

The Brion instantly shattered into countless tiny pieces. Reduced to ashes, every inch of its branches and every piece of its metallic shell vanished into nothingness.

The Brion troublesome recovery ability, which had given Ging so much trouble, didn't even get a chance to manifest in the face of Hydreigon and Tyranitar.

With countless cracking sounds, the ground suddenly split open, and waves of air, carrying dust, blew in all directions. The originally empty field now had a massive crater, resembling the aftermath of a meteor strike.

The residual effects of the attack still lingered, causing countless plants on the stone walls to sway in the wind.

Even the herbs swayed in the breeze, but they remained unharmed.

By the time the dust settled, the figure of the Brion had completely vanished, disappearing from the sight of the three individuals.

"I'll never fight with you, no matter what."

Ging, with a dark expression, muttered to himself as he gazed at the scene that resembled a natural disaster.

Now, he felt that his decision to withdraw his fighting spirit earlier was incredibly wise.

Fighting against Akira was nothing but asking for trouble.

One careless move, and it could lead to a crushing defeat.

Ging thoughts might have been exaggerated, but it was certain that he really didn't want to fight Akira anymore and this was just the result of a simple Pokemon skill.

If Ging were to experience what Maha had felt, this sentiment would likely become even stronger.
