The next morning, Nora stood by the window. She could clearly see Yoongi and Harley standing by the outdoor setup. They were discussing, their faces were filled with smiles and enough teasing. Her chest tightened so much that she felt breathless for a moment.
She didn't even know if they came back the previous night. She had thought she wouldn't be able to sleep out of jealousy but she actually did. Very well indeed.
She left the window side and joined the crew to arrange for set.
Moments later, they were all ready to move to the site for the scene. Although the site was a 5 minutes walk, they still had to drive there —considering the amount of equipment they carried.
The instant, Nora stepped into the company bus, she heard someone call out her name. She looked up to the direction of the voice. Harley? She could have used her car. Why was she in the bus?
Harley smiled and waved her over. Nora was confused. How did she even know her name in the first place? And what did she even want to do with her?
Harley tapped on the space beside her and beckoned on her to seat beside her. Nora obediently sat down.
"You are the female lead right?" Harley asked, her face brimming with smiles.
"Yes". Nora simply answered.
"You are so beautiful and I like your hair" she complimented.
Nora was baffled by her statement. She didn't know how to reply. She had expected a similar attitude like Hae in although Harley looked more matured and had more aura. But she got a compliment instead.
"You were just caught off guard right?" She let out a short laugh. "It's alright. I'm Harley" She said as she stretched her hand for a handshake. They both shook hands.
"I know who you're" Nora said and gave her a little smile.
"Oh! Are you a fan?" Harley asked excitedly.
"Not really. Although I know you, I've only listened to a small number of your songs. I will try following up." Nora added immediately, worried that she could get upset.
"It's alright dear. I'm not worried at all. I know i am good." She gave her a wink. "What's your favorite?"
"The Greatest"
"The Greatest is good. I love that you love the greatest" Harley squealed.
Nora thought Harley was rather too social. But she liked her. They were interrupted by the voice of the manager. The bus had halted. They had to start prepping.
"Let's talk later okay?" Harley said as they parted.
As usual, Yoongi was nowhere in sight. Was he getting ready? Or was here not there yet? Nora left to get ready.
Few hours later, Nora was too tired from sitting on the chair. The makeup didn't take much time because she didn't need much. The artist had said she only had to highlight her features. Her hair took up most of the time. Styling a full hair like hers was real work.
Nora worked out of the room, ready for whatever scene she had today. She saw Yoongi by the end of the hall. Their eyes met. She withdrew her gaze immediately. Her eyes looked at anywhere except him. But she noticed something. The red liquid that dripped from his palm.
She became alarmed and quickly strode to him. Her eyes widened as she got closer. "What happened to you?" she asked, her eyes laced with worry. She took his hand.
"It's nothing". He said trying to withdraw his hand.
"What do you mean it's nothing?" She breathed heavily.
Yoongi suddenly burst into laughter. He bit his lower lip as he looked at her. She looked at him, confused at his reaction. "I like that you are worried. It's really fine. It's for the shoot. It's fake."
She dropped his hand and exhaled out of embarrassment. What did she just do right now!? But it actually looked real, it was only normal that she had reacted like that.
He extended his hand back to her, saying, "You can keep holding it."
She gave him a side eye and tried to walk out, but he held her back. He frowned and said
"What's wrong with you? You almost got me blind".
Nora was confused at his statement "What do you mean?"
"Don't be too greedy and share your beauty with others". He said with a silly grin on his lips.
Nora was dumbfounded at how cringe and funny he sounded. She laughed out "What are you saying??.. Please don't say that again".
"What? You were almost dying of embarrassment so I had to cheer you up". He said, trying to defend himself.
"You did that perfectly but don't use that method again. I don't wanna die before my time". Nora warned.
"Fine, since you don't appreciate my method I will let it go. They are almost done. Let's go finish what we started".
"What you started actually not mine"
"You are part of it too".
"Whateverrr"
They both walked out of the building to the crew.
