After receiving the shopping bag from the store staff, Noah turned to the bald man.
Noah can't help but smile when he sees the bald man's intense gaze, which feels like his eyes could pierce through his skull.
"You want to know who I am?" Noah asked calmly.
"YES! Who the hell are you trying to humiliate my daughter in a public space?"
"Sir, you might regret it if you know who I am."
Noah maintained his playful smile as he spoke to the older man, attempting to show kindness towards him. However, his smile only fueled the bald man's anger.
"I've never encountered someone as bold as you, young man. It seems you're new to this city. Care to take me on in a challenge?"
"Dad, you understand now, right? This guy is such a jerk!" the spoiled girl whines in a feeble, sorrowful voice, hoping to provoke her father further. "And the store employee, too—she claimed my card was declined! How is that even possible, Dad?"
The bald man stared in disbelief.
