"N-Noah, why... You hit me?" Jack's tone trembled with fury.
"I told you you're not supposed to ask questions, Jack. But you need to answer me honestly!"
Jack vented his frustration through his glare and shut his mouth tightly, waiting for Noah to ask.
"Why did you kill my mother?" Noah's voice seething with rage. The calmness in his eyes had vanished entirely; they burned with intense fury, glinting ominously as if they were ready to explode.
"Because you make me angry. You humiliated me in public, and you fucking try to woo the woman I love!!"
Noah feels as if his blood is boiling upon hearing Jack admit what he did to his mother. He is indeed the one who killed her.
However, Noah was confused by Jack's last words. 'I'm chasing the woman he loves? Who? Julia?'
"What woman? Are you talking about Julia Hart?"
