Chapter: 25, Old Companion
Dain looked at the New Crown he received and danced with joy after reading its description.

Locked Locked Locked Locked
This was none other than the true Inheritance. The five other inheritances were just fragments of the true inheritance. He quickly took the other five pieces and added them to the golden Crown.
The golden Crown glowed with a bright green light with all the other pieces that also glowed with a golden light. The five pieces turned into five glowing green gems and slowly imbued with the crown.
After the whole process was finished, the light dimmed and the golden Crown also had a shade of green as the entire crown emanated a deeper and powerful mysterious energy than before.
He then looked at the five effects that now had been unlocked.

Dain smiled with satisfaction. The five effects of this artifact were very useful for a newbie item. Dain quickly wore the green crown on his head and changed the appearance of the crown to a pure golden small crown that complemented his hair.
He then searched the camp to find nothing but dumb and useless things. He gave up and walked back to where Gura was waiting for him.
After he reached her, he looked at his panel and found out that he had already reached level 12 after killing all those goblins. His stat points also reached 33.
He then told Gura to follow him and both went ahead to the 9th floor. The 9th floor only had the Wolves as the monsters. There were no other monsters here as some of the weaker ones were also used by the goblins as livestock.
Dain and Gura quickly passed through the entire floor and after some time, they came close to the stairs to the next floor.

On the 8th floor, the undead skeleton of the goblin named Grom walked limply through the goblin camp. His surroundings were littered with the dead bodies of the lesser goblins.
The aura of death and the rotten stench of the flesh surrounded him. His bones were also black with dried blood and his eyes were hovering through many corpses, his eyes showing the madness of hunger and madness.
He chose one of the corpses and then got close to it. He closed his mouth to the skin of the corpse and with a strong bite; he ate a mouthful of the flesh from the corpse. A munching sound echoed through the goblin camp as the muscle in his body began to merge with the flesh he ate.
One by one, he began to eat the corpses fallen on the ground. And slowly, his bones were starting to be less visible as his flesh began to merge and slowly made him complete.
The moments he was chewing the flesh, only one thing was on his mind.
"E-Eat, Strong, Gura. Eat, Strong, Gura. Eat Strong…"

On the Tenth floor, Dain looked at the familiar Metal surface of the entire cave. In front of him, there were three glass displays and in front of each display, there were three stone steles describing the items inside the display.
There were three different items, a Wand, a Sword and a Armor. Dain looked at the three items with a disappointed sigh as he moved away from the three items and moved to a corner of the wall.
He touched the wall and started to hover around to find something. Suddenly, his hand got stuck on a secret button on the wall.
With a smile, He pressed the button without any hesitation. The floor rumbled and the metal surface began to tremble as the metal clashing sound filled the entire floor.
Soon, the place where he pressed the button slid back and opened apart, showing a new path through it.
Dain walked slowly inside as Gura stood outside the path in Dain's instruction. She wanted to get at least one of the items on the glass display, but remembering Dain's words of not touching them, she didn't dare try anything.
Dain walked through the narrow pathway and saw a brightly lit room where a big crystal display stood there completely alone without any stone stele unlike the steles on the main room.
He walked closer and saw a pristine white sword completely in the middle of the insides of the big crystal. Looking at his old friend from the previous life, he smiled.
"We meet again, old friend…" He muttered softly.
He walked closer to the crystal and the sword resonated with something within him as the resonating sound entered his ears.
Not wanting to wait too long, Dain prepared his fist and with a powerful punch, he shattered the crystal as the breaking sounds of the crystal rang out on the small rook.
He grabbed the sword by its wilt as he looked at the sword's status window.
