After a while of silence, she looked up the wall clock, checking the time.
"Mom would be back soon. Although, you guys can stay, if you're ready to meet her, that is." Beth said, silently hoping they weren't going to stay.
Not that she didn't want them, but at that moment, all she needed was time and space.
"We'd meet her soon, but not now. We have to leave town." Tristan said, not making any effort to take his hand from hers.
"Okay then. We can see later." She said shyly. Remembering she'd have to be with them, one after the other from tomorrow.
"Yeah, you'd be seeing me tomorrow." Troy whispered from beside her, causing her to blush heavily, taking her hands from theirs. The electricity was back, and there was only so much she could handle.
"Well, if you guys are going to be leaving, I suggest you do so now. She'd be here in five minutes." Beth said, rubbing her palms on her thighs, trying to resist the urge to kiss or hug atleast one of them goodbye.
