Hwan looked stunned.
His eyes flicked between the Oracle and Nina, his brows furrowed deep in confusion and concern.
When he finally spoke, his voice was quiet—careful.
"Are you sure? She's a civilian. This isn't right. You might be making a mistake."
He asked Julie.
Nina met his gaze, and for a moment, his expression softened into something almost apologetic, like he knew she hadn't asked for this.
Julie, however, remained calm and firm.
"I know what I'm doing. You just have to trust me."
She said.
Hwan's lips pressed into a thin line. He didn't look convinced, but he didn't argue again. Nina, standing off to the side with Fenrir in her arms, could only sigh.
"I'm not saying I agree with this either. It's not exactly a great idea.
She muttered, shooting a look at Julie.
"But it's the best option we have right now. Trust me."
Julie replied, completely unbothered.
That was the second time she'd said it.
Nina gave her a flat look.
