"This floor, besides the office and reception hall, is basically just rooms." Mike pushed open a door, revealing the empty interior. "But none are decorated yet—would you like to design them yourself?"
Much larger than the second floor rooms, clearly meant for important domain figures or guests, especially Vaerik's master bedroom which was ridiculously spacious.
Vaerik waved dismissively: "No need to make it too complicated. As long as it's livable and functional, simple is better."
Mike nodded: "Alright then, I'll do it according to Northern Province noble standards."
As they spoke, Vaerik suddenly turned to look at Siv beside him: "By the way, you'll be coming here often for work in the future. Why don't you just move in? Save yourself the daily commute. I'll reserve a room on the third floor for you."
Siv was slightly startled, instinctively wanting to refuse.
But what came out was: "...That's fine."
