The man sighed as he pulled his sword from the goblin's corpse. A soft wind blew through the destroyed village, bringing the sweet scent of carnage directly to his nose.
Blood dripped from the man's sword, enriching the scorched sand underneath. Ignoring it, he searched the land for one man in particular.
'Rae, where ya hiding ya little jackass.'
Ignoring the sound of his soldiers silencing the few remaining goblins, the man walked through the town as he searched for Rae.
One of the straggler goblin soldiers jumped from behind a marble building, screaming "you kill me town! Now me–"
Thwish.
"Quiet, vermin." The man said, his voice low and filled with hatred. "Noone gave you permission to speak."
"Ke-ehr" The goblin groaned as blood poured out of his mouth. He hadn't seen any of the 5 swords the man had summoned.
They simply came out of nowhere and ended him. Now, they traveled back to the man and seemingly merged with his body.

"Yeah yeah, the experience is shit. Keep reminding me and I'm gonna kill you next ya damned system."
...
It took him a good 10 minutes, but the man finally found Rae. As usual, the stupid Reviver was off looking for loot.
Rae was in the middle of a seemingly good haul when he suddenly felt something clasp his shoulder.
"Hey Ali, is that you getting frisky back there?" Rae called out with a laugh while picking up his sword. "Because otherwise, my name is Rae Montoy and you killed my father, prepare to DIE!"
He turned, swinging his sword with so much momentum that even high tier swordmasters would have trouble blocking the strike. Yet Ali the Goblin Slayer didn't even budge.
His only acknowledgement of the attack at all was summoning a sword to parry the strike. Otherwise, his gaze never once left Rae's face.
His stupid silky blonde hair and pretty boy looks. If there was one thing Ali could ever hate more than goblins, it would be this insufferable asshole right there.
However, Ali couldn't deny that Rae was beyond intelligent when it came to this world. It was almost as if he had some prior, omniscient knowledge.
'Not omniscient,' Ali thought grimly.
Then he turned a sharpened glare to Rae and said, "Ya told me this place had high level goblins. But all I see here is a bunch of weaklings and you off scrounging for gold."
Rae offered a small smile as he dramatically shrugged, waving his hands in all kinds of extravagant patterns—especially the sword hand.
"I messed up. My b!" Rae exclaimed with another laugh.
This time, he was silenced by Ali grabbing his shoulder and slamming him into the nearest building.
Glaring into Rae's soul, Ali growled, "Stop with your bullshit. You know why I need these levels, and yet your dumbass keeps sending me to weak goblin camps!"
Rae watched Ali for a few seconds, doing his best to keep from laughing. However, he barely lasted 2 seconds before crying out, "Hey, don't touch me like that! What, do you want my clothes to randomly fall off?"
"Punk ass bitch," Ali growled before letting go.
However, he now had a sword raised to Rae's neck.
"Listen closely," Ali began, pushing his sword just deep enough to draw a little blood. "You're going to give me a proper goblin camp, one that can get me to level 200. Otherwise, when you come back from this next mission, I'm going to kill you."
"Next mission? You're sending me away already?" Rae said, ignoring the threat completely.
"Yes. I've received word of some human claiming to be a Goblin God in the southernmost camps. Hopefully, he created the ruse to kill as many of them as possible. If not–"
"Blood, death, horror!" Rae exclaimed with a smile. "You want me to kill him."
Ali nodded solemnly. "Yes. Any human that chooses to ally with the goblins deserve to die."
"Of course. Fuck goblins, all my homies hate goblins. Those assholes with their whispering winds and red dot curse..." Rae shook his head like a kid pretending to be disgusted.
Annoyance flashed in Ali's eyes once again. He wished that, just for this one time, this fucking idiot could take anything seriously.
Ever since Ali met him, Rae treated this life like some kind of game.
Didn't he realize how important it was to unlock the chalice? To exterminate all goblins from the face of the world?
