Dax's voice broke the tense silence. "We will," he said firmly to his father.
Kael scoffed, crossing his arms. "That should have been me. I'm the firstborn."
Dax ignored him completely, eyes fixed on Alpha Throne.
The group gathered at the heavy gates of Silverfang, the largest pack in Emberforest. Their warriors stood silently behind them, their weapons ready, their faces grim.
Kael took a deep breath. "This is it. No turning back."
Aria's heart beat fast but steady. She glanced at the triplets and friends, and felt a strange mix of fear and hope.
Ren grinned, flashing his usual cocky smile. "Well, let's not keep the adventure waiting."
Lyra nudged Serana, whispering, "We're actually leaving?"
