Raphael entered his ship, he needed something, getting inside the elevator he choosed the last floor, the descent was slow, the engines that once worked perfectly were all rusty and damaged.
A few times Raphael feared the entire thing would break down while he was inside, but with a stroke of luck the slow travel of the elevator didn't devolve in a mortal situation.
After a while he finally arrived at the last floor, in front of him there was a large computer that seemed connected to all the rest of the towers and all the functioning Transmitters, that room was still relatively in good shape because it was hermetically closed by him beforehand for every occasion.
At the base of the computer there was a circular devide with a hole on the outside, slowly Raphael put his hand inside it, he knew what he was doing and he also knew what was coming.
Strangely the so awaited pain didn't arrive on time, the computer asked "Energy necessary for the procedure insufficient, use banked energy?" Even if he didn't like the solution Raphael still had to approve this solution, he needed the Raceiver.
What followed could only be described as pure pain, hundreads of needles pierced his arm, each of them pumped in it nanobots, after a few minutes of excruciating pain he finally cold put out his hand.
His former human hand had some metallic reflection to it, shortly after inspecting his "new" arm a voice entered his head [Welcome back Master, how can I help you todey], hearing the ship's system voice made him slightly happy.
He asked it [what his the nearest Transmitter to my position] it answed in a flash [The Third, Master], Raphael gaze became focused [Atlas trace a route, we got some problem to adjust].
...
A young human woman dressed as a witch, with a big dark blue hat on her head and a long dark blue coat, was walking into a grand plane full of green, she seemed exhausted, too weak to walk anymore.
She had brown hairs and green eyes, she seemed to have around 35 years, but she took them well, looking like a twenty three years old woman, her hands were keeping a brown thick book, on her back she was transporting a big luggage.
As she lost stability and kneelt on one foot in order to not end falling completely an old man appeared out of nowhere next to her, he wore her same clothes just his clothes were more well made.
He had a happy look on his face, the face of a really old man, once that life favoured for keeping around for so long, he happily asked his pupil " Gherma, how are you holding up?".
If looks could kill the poor old man would be already be smashed into a coffin, gasping she asked "and you Master, where it's you luggage?" He readily took out a small punch saying "here is everything I need, I still couldn't believe the could gave me this dimensional pouch for the mission" his smile grew bigger saying the last part.
Inside her head Gherma screamed 'it's obviously because they want you gone old farther!' After taking a few deep breaths she asked the question that was hunting her mind "where are we going that you are so happy to go?".
The old man answered smiling "what a foolish question my pupil, we are going to the Space Ruins!" As Gherma hear the last part she felt the urge to hit her Master.
After a few more deep breath she said quite irritated "there isn't anything there, when will you and your stupid obsession understand this, they are only rocks and strange structures, and even if you could say those strange towers could be something they don't give a sign of life from like forever and nothing its going to change tod-" her sentence got cut short by an enormous blue energy blast that got fired up in the sky from the direction of the towers.
The old man seeing that started flying at supersonic speed towards the towers, his expression becoming more serious with each passing second.
