A new day dawned. Jett woke earlier than usual, buzzing with excitement for the day's delegation.
For once he skipped the customary morning wood and sprang from bed full of energy. He crossed to the massive window that overlooked the sapphire ocean and lingered there longer than normal.
Aware that his maids were already waiting at the bedroom door, he called them in. As always, Mia and Noctlisa dropped into perilously low bows that threatened to spill their ample chests from their bodices before straightening and fixing their beautiful eyes on their master.
"The weather is perfect for an adventure, Master Jett," Mia said, her smile radiant. "I have arranged a selection of garments from the Warden Mansion's gifts for your first delegation. I would be honored if you would inspect them before we depart."
