Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: Bombardment from the Heavens Lasted Ten Full Minutes

The onslaught from the sky lasted nearly ten minutes before finally coming to a stop. The Whitebeard Pirates were almost completely annihilated, with only a handful barely surviving.

"Looks like there's no hope for us in this match," Sam said with a bitter smile, shaking his head at the few comrades still standing. "Maybe if we'd realized the situation sooner, it wouldn't have come to this."

"Damn it! If you've got guts, come out and fight one-on-one!" Blake shouted angrily into the distance.

"Sorry, we're not exactly the 'manly' type, so we'll have to pass on your duel," Tesla replied sarcastically as she walked out from the forest, her face full of disdain for the brawny fools in front of her.

"You...!" Blake turned red with frustration, but couldn't argue. Even if Tesla wasn't exactly manly, she was at least... sort of a woman? Maybe?

"Of course, if you're really that upset, you're welcome to solo our entire group~" Tesla said as she waved her hand. Suddenly, the ground began to tremble.

"What the hell?! This is total BS! You're straight-up cheating!" Blake yelled in shock, staring at the hundreds of Titans before him.

"What kind of skill is this?" Sam asked, dazed by the flood of steel and iron. You couldn't really blame him for freaking out—this was absolutely game-breaking!

"No, no, no~ This isn't just my doing!" Tesla waved her hand dismissively. At that moment, the rest of the Anti-Entropy crew stepped out from behind her. They lined up in formation, exuding pure intimidation.

"Do you guys have to be so dramatic?" Sam couldn't help but mutter.

"It's not just about drama. It's also a psychological tactic to intimidate any hidden enemies and show our strength, so they won't dare make a move. Simple as that," Walter explained, pushing up his glasses with a perfectly serious face.

Hearing their reasoning, Sam sighed and slowly stood up. Staring at the massive Titan army ahead, he said firmly, "What's the point of all that talking? Bring it on! We're not going down without a fight!"

"We expected as much. Titans—charge!" Walter chuckled lightly. They'd been in the Dimensional Guild long enough to understand the Whitebeard Pirates well, so he didn't hesitate to give the command.

Despite knowing they had no chance of winning, Sam and Blake fought with everything they had. Only after taking down nearly 30 Titans did they finally get eliminated.

But seeing the scene unfold, Walter couldn't help but sigh and glare at Tesla. "What the hell were you yelling for earlier? We should've attacked right away. Now we're in serious danger~"

He nervously scanned the area, worried a hidden enemy might leap out and ruin their victory streak.

Tesla blushed. "I didn't mean to~"

"Yeah, yeah. What good is saying that now? Focus on the real problem here." Einstein cut them off, eyes fixed on the looming figure of the Herrscher of Finality. "Let's take this guy down fast, grab the loot, and get the hell out."

"No choice then. Let's do it!" Walter took a deep breath and rallied the Titans for another assault.

The Titans charged, and the Herrscher of Finality met them head-on, wielding her spear like a whirlwind of destruction.

There was no denying it—this special boss was terrifying. With tens of thousands of HP and brutal attack power, she was a true monster. But even she couldn't withstand the endless onslaught of Titans, and her health slowly dropped.

"Let's hope nothing goes wrong..." Einstein, deep in the Titan ranks, still felt uneasy despite the overwhelming firepower around her.

And she was right to worry.

A tiny, seemingly harmless stone—one that could wipe out their entire team—sat just a meter away from them.

"Keep fighting... The moment that monster goes down is the moment I devour you all and take your power for myself. Hehehe... It's true—camping is the ultimate strategy!" thought a wicked slime lurking in the shadows, eyes gleaming with malice.

Second by second, the battle raged on. Eventually, after sacrificing 200 Titans, the Herrscher of Finality finally fell, leaving behind a glowing crystal.

"Grab that thing—everyone, prepare to retreat!" Walter wasn't planning to stick around.

But at that moment, the hidden evil finally bared its fangs.

"Toxic Slime!"

Rimuru, hidden until now, suddenly reverted to slime form with a pop, then hurled a slimy green blob at them.

"When?!" Einstein and the others panicked. They could summon Titans, yes, but the trade-off was that they had zero combat ability themselves!

"Damn it!" Walter couldn't dodge in time and got slimed right in the face. His body instantly turned a sickly green.

"–256!"

"–302!"

"–273!"

Damage numbers popped up over his head as his health plummeted.

"Poison damage?! Everyone scatter!" Walter shouted, terrified.

"Trying to run? Not that easy! Slime Split Technique!"

Rimuru sneered as the group tried to flee. He flung out four or five more slimes—this time blue.

To everyone's horror, the slimes morphed into human forms—each one identical to Rimuru—and launched a relentless pursuit.

"Toxic Slime!"

"Sticky Slime!"

"Exploding Slime!"

Each Rimuru clone unleashed skill after skill with terrifying speed. Not a single one missed. Within seconds, every member of Anti-Entropy was taking massive damage. Their HP dropped to zero almost instantly.

"Ugh... this sucks!" Walter groaned before fading into particles.

"Guess we'll try again next time," Einstein said calmly before vanishing as well.

"Rimuru, you big jerk! I'll never forgive you!" Tesla screamed in frustration. But no matter how angry she was, the outcome couldn't be changed.

"Yeah, yeah. This was all your fault anyway," Schrödinger muttered, rolling her eyes at Tesla before disappearing herself.

"Jackpot, jackpot!" Rimuru grinned from ear to ear. His victory was complete.
