Chapter 65 - Chapter 65;ELECTRIC MOMENT

Chapter 65

Hyun Min held my gaze for a heartbeat longer, . He brushed a stray strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers grazing my skin, igniting sparks of warmth everywhere they touched.

"The library was just the start," he said softly, his breath mingling with mine. I felt the warmth of embarrassment creeping up my cheeks as memories of our initial encounter resurfaced. It was a strange time, filled with misunderstandings and clashes.

Slowly, he shifted, leaning further into the space between us. The world around us seemed to fade, and all that remained was the steady rhythm of our breaths. I could barely process what was happening, adrenaline coursing through my veins, each heartbeat loud and resonant in the quiet room.

Then, as if caught in a magnetic pull, Hyun Min tilted his head and kissed me. This time, it was deeper, more deliberate—his lips moving softly, coaxing new emotions from within me. I felt myself surrendering to the moment, allowing the kiss to wash away all remnants of uncertainty.

When we finally pulled apart, our foreheads touched, and I could see the warmth in his eyes had transformed into something undeniable—an attraction charged with the energy of unspoken words and unresolved tension.

"There was a time I wish you wouldn't resist this..," he confessed, voice barely above a whisper.

Before I could respond, the energy in the air shifted. Hyun Min, still holding my gaze, gently but firmly turned me over on the bed, his movements fluid. My heart raced as I felt the softness of the sheets beneath me. One of his legs effortlessly brushed against mine, a grounding presence that sent shivers of anticipation coursing through my body.

With him there, hovering above me, I felt a mix of thrill and vulnerability.

As his lips met mine again, a wave of sweetness engulfed me, their taste reminiscent of mint and ripe strawberries. I let my fingers slip into his incredibly soft hair, feeling the silkiness beneath my fingertips. He welcomed my touch, guiding the kiss with an intoxicating confidence that made my heart race.

The world around us faded, and it was just the two of us, lost in this moment. My hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as his scent enveloped me—a heady mix that ignited something deep within. He didn't pull away; instead, he deepened the kiss, eliciting a soft sigh from my lips that mingled with his.

Every brush of his tongue against mine felt electric, and the thrill of his kiss wrapped around me like a warm embrace. I was completely captivated, surrendering to the connection we were forging in that instant. There was something magical about being with him, something that made it clear—I had fallen for him. In that moment, nothing else mattered; I was utterly lost in him.

The sky roared, thunder striking like a warning bell, and the rain began to pour, a relentless downpour that drowned out the world outside. I tried to push myself up from the bed, but Hyun Min's grip held me down, firm yet gentle, as if he were afraid to let go.

"What are you doing? Let me go! I'm not even your girlfriend," I protested, my voice barely rising above the sound of the storm.

He met my gaze, his expression unwavering, and responded simply, "Let's just stay like this."

There was something calming in his tone, something that wrapped around me like a soft blanket, despite the turmoil brewing in my mind. I complied, feeling a mix of surprise and confusion wash over me. The close proximity of our bodies was electric, and though I wanted to question him further, I could barely find the words.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Hyun Min remained quiet, his eyes searching mine, as if weighing the unspoken words between us. A sigh escaped my lips, and I gathered my courage to voice my next question. "The blondie I saw you with... is she your girlfriend?"

His expression shifted for a moment, a flicker of amusement crossing his lips, before he chuckled softly. "Our parents are close... they've always hoped we end up together."

Tension filled the air, my heart racing at the implications of his words. "Do you not love her?" I asked, the question slipping out before I could reel it back in.

He looked at me then, and a small laugh escaped him, light and somehow reassuring. "I don't."

A rush of relief flooded through me, mingled with uncertainty. My heart did a funny little dance at his confession, and though the storm raged on outside, within those four walls, there was a calm that only he could bring. As the rain drummed against the window, I realized that amidst the chaos, I craved his closeness more than ever.

In that moment, his question struck me like a lightning bolt. "Do you like me?"

My heart stopped, and I nearly coughed out my throat "What?" I managed to gasp, completely shocked.

"No, I don't!" I blurted out, my voice rising more than I intended. I felt heat rush to my cheeks as I stood up from the bed, desperate to put distance between us.

"But you let me kiss you," he said, a hint of confusion in his eyes.

"Because I was stupid!" I snapped back, frustration bubbling inside me. I was reeling, caught between my feelings and the need to defend myself.

"You know what? I just came back to my senses!" My heart raced, not just from the kiss but from the whirlwind of emotions now swirling within me. I needed to regain control.
