Chapter 35 - New Title dan Skill

[Luck: 1.732]

Alvaric stroked his chin. He didn't really understand the use of his Luck stat. It didn't seem to be all that helpful. Luck should provide, well, luck. That's how it was supposed to work. But now that he thought about it… it didn't really feel that way.

"Or maybe I just forgot?"

He glanced sideways, trying to recall everything he'd obtained since arriving in this world.

He had gotten the Vappers Dagger, Crimson Sword Demon, Bloodmoon Eclipse, Shield Regeneration, and a few others—including his current class: Human Hemomancer.

But all of those were gained through leveling up or completing missions. None came from something truly random, like a gacha pull.

"Doesn't that mean my Luck stat is kinda useless?" Alvaric scratched his head. "Or maybe the legendary items and rare skills I got were because of my Luck?"

Alvaric wasn't sure. He shrugged and swiped through his system screen. Just as he entered the skill section, a notification popped up.

Tring!

[New Title Acquired]

[Mother of Ant Bee]

[Description: You have merged with the Ant Bee colony, triggering a new evolutionary branch in their race. Your blood became the catalyst that unlocked new evolution for the Ant Bees.]

Alvaric froze. Now he understood why the Ant Bees had changed so strangely. It all started when the Queen Ant Bee absorbed his blood during the near-collapse of the colony.

"Could this also be the result of my Luck stat?"

He wasn't sure. He also hadn't expected that such a small action on his part wouldn't just help the Ant Bees reproduce faster—it made them smarter, unlocking an entirely new evolutionary path. This was something extremely beneficial for Alvaric.

"In that case, they really are my children."

Alvaric laughed loudly. That explained why the Ant Bees acted so close and affectionate toward him.

But suddenly, his laughter stopped.

"Wait, I'm a guy… Why is the title Mother of Ant Bee?"

Alvaric felt like Father would suit him better, especially since he was clearly male, and it was the Queen Ant Bees who gave birth to the others.

Shouldn't they be the…

"In that case, they are…" Alvaric shook his head, rejecting the thought.

"No. That doesn't make sense. I'm still a virgin. I didn't impregnate anyone. I swear."

That wasn't the only thing he got. Alvaric also received a set of new derivative skills.

[Hive Tongue]

Description: You now fully understand the language of the Ant Bee colony.

[Absolute Command]

Description: Issues an absolute command to the Ant Bee colony.

[Queen's Insight]

Description: You can see and feel the world through the thousands of eyes of the Ant Bee colony. Nothing can hide from your sight.

[Hive Aura]

Description: Your emotions affect the colony's strength. Anger fuels them; calmness sharpens them. You are the center of their universe.

These skills were part of the main ability tied to the Mother of Ant Bee title. Alvaric now felt like a god to the Ant Bees. The entire colony was under his control. Whatever he wanted to do, he could do.

He closed his eyes and selected one Ant Bee. Instantly, he saw a swarm heading toward the forest. They spread out and began hunting animals there.

But they didn't attack randomly. They hunted like intelligent beings—luring prey into a trap, and then Ant Bee Mages cast spells to take them out in a single strike.

That way, none of the prey escaped. It was much more effective than blindly charging in and scaring everything away.

"They're completely different from the Ant Bees I met at first."

Of course, it was Alvaric's blood that had changed their intelligence. When he viewed through the eyes of another Ant Bee…

He saw some of them feeding rabbits, bears, crawlers, wolves, deer, and several other animals. They were farming—just like humans. It wasn't just their minds; they were mimicking human society while still retaining their Ant Bee forms.

Not only that, but there were Ant Bees assigned to cook meals from the hunted and farmed resources. Their society was fully structured, just like a human settlement: combat commanders, warriors, cooks, ranchers, hunters, healers (serving as doctors), and many other roles.

Seeing all of this through Queen's Insight, Alvaric was stunned.

"They're truly incredible." He couldn't help but admire them. He was a little curious about their livestock farms.

"Maybe I should go see them."

He stood and looked around. There were countless tunnels. He had no idea where they led. Alvaric couldn't remember the paths at all. There were just too many new branches—each one with its own sub-branches.

Let alone reaching the farms—he couldn't even find a way out. To leave, he would need help from an Ant Bee Mage to teleport him.

This place was too big for him to explore. And honestly, Alvaric was too lazy to do that.

"Let them be."

He wanted to close his eyes and relax, but suddenly, another notification sound echoed.

[New Mission Added]

[Establish good relations with the ruler of Chillg City.]

[Reward: Random skill, random item, and Evolution Point]

Alvaric frowned. He rubbed his eyes and checked his system screen again, but it hadn't changed. What he saw was still there. This mission wasn't about fighting—it was about forming a relationship with a native power of this world.

But that wasn't what surprised Alvaric.

What shocked him was the reward—Evolution Point. This was the first time he had seen such a thing.

"What does this mean? Can I evolve?" Alvaric scratched his head in confusion.

He tapped around his system repeatedly, trying to find a menu that explained evolution, but after half an hour of searching… nothing showed up.

That was strange. It should appear—after all, Evolution Point was part of the mission reward. But no matter how hard he searched, he couldn't find it.

He narrowed his eyes. "It couldn't be… in this section, could it?"

He opened his class menu. What appeared shocked him.

[Class: Human Hemomancer (1,200 / 100,000 Evolution Points)]

Alvaric gulped. His current class was already overpowered in his opinion. He couldn't imagine what kind of power he would gain after evolving. But it clearly wouldn't be easy—he needed to gather one hundred thousand Evolution Points.

Still, that made him excited.

"With this… maybe I will become the strongest human and… return to Earth. Meet Marie again and show her everything I've obtained."

He burst into loud laughter, unable to wait for that day to come.
