Dumbledore led them inside the office calmly, gesturing toward the chairs in front of his desk. Fawkes gave a soft trill from his perch, watching silently.
Sirius, Remus, Johnny, and Tony filed in, none of them sitting immediately.
Tony gotta say, It looks kinda Fantasy and over all magic. The office looks one of those Magic towers office in a game he once played. Even the stairs he walked and the statue that Gandalf gave password to. Who uses sweets as password?
Dumbledore settled into his seat, hands folded. "Well, Mr. Stark… I imagine you have much to say."
Tony narrow his eyes. "You could say that, Gandalf."
Remus gave a muffled cough.
Tony glanced at him. "Sorry. Wrong universe. Let's skip pleasantries and dive straight into what matters: Harry James Potter."
Dumbledore's fingers steepled. "I made a choice. It was not easy, but—"
"No," Tony cut in, voice firm. "You made a gamble. You left a fifteen-month-old baby on a doorstep in November if I am right by the records I got, With people who hated his mother, Not only that but Magic, You didn't verify anything. You didn't check in. You didn't protect him."
Snape scowled. "You speak as though you understand our world. And what did you mean that brat is your brother?"
Tony knew he wasn't gonna like this guy, Even at first appearance and now speaking. "I will not reveal a word of how he and I are connected. Not until I confirm you all are trustworthy. What makes you think I tell you?"
"He is right" Amelia spoke up seeing Albus about to say something. "You have no rights. Not after we find out what happen, Dumbledore. You are on thin ice"
Snape scoffs. "Again, what does he know?"
"I understand child neglect. I understand trauma. I understand choosing a 'greater good' and being wrong." Tony remember Sirius telling him about Dumbledore's favourite quote 'Greater Good'
"Harry survived," Dumbledore said quietly. "He is strong."
"He survived despite you, not because of you." Tony's voice sharpened. "And what now? Letting some fame-hungry fraud of a professor isolate him in classrooms? No one does anything? That's not just carelessness. That's negligence."
Remus stepped forward, eyes burning. "You told me he was safe... What excuse do you have?"
"I believed he was," Dumbledore admitted, not meeting his eyes. "The Blood Wards—"
"Oh, shut up about the Blood Wards," Sirius snapped. "You left him in a house where they made him sleep in a cupboard under the stairs!"
"That's not protection. That's punishment," Tony added.
Professor Sprout turned to Dumbledore, expression unreadable. "Is that true?"
Professor Flitwick standing quietly with Amelia, gasped. "You… You never told us this."
"I didn't know," Dumbledore admitted. "I—"
"You didn't want to know," Tony said flatly. "Because it was easier to believe your plan worked."
There was silence.
Remus finally spoke again, voice low. "I would have taken him. If you had asked. I wasn't a perfect man, but I loved James and Lily like family. Sure, My condition of Werewolf wouldn't allowed but still! You could have allowed me to meet him!! We would've figured it out. Instead, you sentenced him to isolation, starvation, and abuse. You buried him to keep your narrative clean."
"I don't have excuses" Sirius said. "I was falsely thrown in jail but the rest? Come on, Anyone? Did anyone try? Remus did but what about you, Dumbledore? You could had tried!"
Dumbledore's voice was soft, cracked. "And yet… he has grown into someone strong. He is loved now."
Tony took a breath and let it out slowly. "He's learning what love is now. But you don't get to pat yourself on the back for that."
Amelia Bones finally spoke up, her voice sharp. "Tony Stark is now in charge of Harry Potter, You have no rights to say or do anything! You already damaged the child... No more"
Dumbledore didn't argue.
Johnny, leaning against the bookshelf, finally muttered, "And here I thought politics were a mess."
McGonagall looked at Sirius and Remus with quiet remorse. "I… I'm sorry. I truly thought Harry was cared for. If I had known—"
"You weren't told. That's on him," Tony said, nodding toward the Headmaster.
"still I did watch over that house... All day... I told Dumbledore what they were like but... I just wanted Harry to be protected... Oh Merlin... I have so much to do..."
There was a long pause.
Dumbledore met Tony's eyes, for the first time without a trace of aloof wisdom. "What do you intend to do, Mr. Stark?"
Tony's voice was level. "Harry has family now. He's got Sirius. He's got me. We'll protect him, from Lockhart, from manipulations, from you if we have to. I don't want to destroy your castle, Albus, but if it's him or you?"
He stared coldly.
"I choose him. Every time."
Remus finally sat down, visibly drained. "Harry deserves better... I cannot believe you did this..."
Dumbledore bowed his head slightly. "Then perhaps… it is time I step back and trust others to protect him."
Sirius snorted.
Amelia turned to them. "Consider this an official review of your actions, Dumbledore."
Tony smirked. "Looks like the revolution's being televised."
Johnny snorted. "They don't have television"
"Excuse me they don't?!"
"Nope"
Tony shake his head. "Unbelievable... Oh right, I almost forgot. You might want to summon Lockhart. Because while I came here for Dumbledore... I also came with proof."
The atmosphere in the office instantly shifted. McGonagall straightened. Flitwick's ears perked up. Snape raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. Amelia Bones narrowed her eyes with interest.
"Proof?" Amelia asked. "Of what?"
Tony crossed his arms. "That Professor fraud is a thief. I had JARVIS run a timeline analysis on every single one of his published books. 'Holidays with Hags'? 'Voyages with Vampires'? 'Wanderings with Werewolves'?" He shook his head, tone sharp. "All those heroic tales? They're ripped off from real wizards and witches. The dates don't match. The geography is sloppy. Some of the spells described aren't even real magic—they're copied from folklore."
Sirius blink. "Wait, you serious read all of those books?" He remembers Tony ordering a whole library! He can't believe Tony actually read all of those books! "Merlin balls... You be in Ravenclaw house!"
Tony wave his hand. "Probably"
Remus made a face. "I knew something was off. No one survives all that and comes out with better teeth and perfect hair."
Flitwick spoke up, adjusting his glasses. "I… have had students complain. They said his lessons are more about posing than teaching. They often feel like photo shoots."
"Same here," Professor Sprout agreed. "My Hufflepuffs said he tried to get them to pose with Flesh-Eating Slugs for a candid shot."
Snape's lips curled in dark amusement. "Even my Slytherins threatened to hex him. Imagine that. Uniting Slytherins under the noble cause of hating Lockhart."
Tony raised an eyebrow. "And yet… this guy was hired?"
He turned to Dumbledore, who had been sitting silently, eyes on his desk. "And you, Professor Gandalf—what's your excuse?"
Dumbledore lifted his eyes slowly. "I knew Lockhart's stories were exaggerated, yes."
Tony blinked. "You knew?"
A ripple of outrage spread across the room.
"You knew he was a fraud?" McGonagall asked, incredulous.
"And you still let him teach children?" Sprout added.
"What in Merlin's beard were you thinking?" Flitwick exclaimed, for once not soft-spoken.
Alastor Moody, who had been silent and still, exploded with fury. "You allowed a fame-hungry idiot—no, criminal—to get near children? What if he'd tried to Obliviate one of them? What if he has?"
Tony rise his hand. "That's why I said timelines doesn't make sense. He might have done that, Oblivo whatever you call"
"Obliviate"
"Yup, that"
Dumbledore, to his credit, did not deflect. "I had hoped… that exposure to real teaching and students would humble him. That he might grow."
Sirius stared at him. "That's not a headmaster's job. That's a therapist's job."
Amelia's face was granite. "I want him summoned. Now. And if your staff cannot manage that, I will do it myself."
Snape smirked. "I'd quite enjoy dragging him here."
"JARVIS you done with scanning? Also Locate Lockhart."
"Professor Lockhart is currently in the second-floor corridor, just outside his classroom." another voice comes from suit startling everyone expect Sirius, Remus and Johnny.
"Figures," Sirius muttered. "Just far enough to avoid the action."
"Who was that?"
"My AI"
"Whats-"
"I am sorry, I explain later. Right now I need to grab that sorry excuse of a man and strangle him"
Amelia turned to Dumbledore. "Well?"
Dumbledore stood, and for once, he looked truly aged. "Very well. I shall send someone for him."
"No," Tony said. "I'll go. I want to see the look on his face when I walk him in."
Remus stood beside him, jaw clenched. "I'll come with you."
So Tony Stark, armored and sharp-eyed, and Remus Lupin, quiet and deadly serious, left the office together—ready to drag a liar into the light.
