A month later, Nash was on the train to Atral City.
After saying his goodbyes and preparing for anything unexpected, he set off on his journey.
Despite his first-level identification card discount, the ticket to Atral City still cost him 10,000 arls.
Nash could only wonder how much it would cost for ordinary people.
As the train started, it suddenly suffered a slight tremor, sending everyone tumbling to the ground.
With outstanding balance, Nash stood steadily, wondering if the train was under attack.
Although Earth seemed peaceful on the surface, rebels were still rampant behind the scenes.
Whether it was to earn profits or to expel the Arlean civilization from their planet, his fellow Earthlings couldn't just stay quiet.
While Nash was wondering, he felt a soft body leaning on his chest.
Just as he was about to push the person away, he recognized one of his acquaintances, the woman who coveted his body.
"Camilla?" Nash muttered coldly.
He still hadn't been able to take revenge for his predecessor.
If it weren't a public space, he would've already attacked.
Meanwhile, hearing him mutter, the woman leaning into him looked into his eyes.
"It's you, pretty boy~" Camilla said softly, a smile in her eyes.
Unable to stand such flirtatious words, Nash just stared coldly, wanting to leave.
Unfortunately, before he could do so, Camilla grabbed his hand.
"Let go."
"No, you can't." Camilla still smiled, but her words carried a hint of coldness.
Disregarding her words, Nash began to struggle, about to raise his foot to kick her away.
However, before he could do so, he felt a familiar energy about to crush his hand.
"Void Warrior!"
Having fought and killed two Void Warriors, Nash couldn't be more familiar with it.
"No need to struggle. It's only been a few months since I last saw you, I didn't expect you to be here,"
Although Nash wore a mask and a hat that only revealed his eyes, it was enough for Camilla to recognize him.
From the beginning until now, what attracted her the most were his eyes.
Looking at those deep blue eyes, like a bottomless abyss and the beautiful ocean, Camilla couldn't help but be in a good mood.
"Let go. I'm not the one you're looking for," Nash said quietly.
With a knife hanging by his neck, Nash could only reason.
Although he was able to kill Elias, that was because Elias had been injured and could barely mobilize his strength.
Based on Camilla's posture, body composition, and the look in her eyes, no matter what he did, he didn't have a chance of even escaping.
"Want to escape from me? Haha, nice try. Come, I booked a private room on the train. I'll treat you as a guest."
Seeing he couldn't escape the clutches of the devil, Nash could only sigh and follow her.
As for the attack on the train, it was already at the back of his mind.
Looking at Camilla, Nash couldn't help but be curious.
Why was the true leader of the Steel Bones gang going to Atral City?
---
Inside the VIP room of the train, Camilla openly locked the door.
Seeing this, Nash didn't react much.
Analyzing Camilla's expression, she didn't seem like a lustful woman.
Such an action was nothing more than an attempt to scare him.
"Just tell me what you want. No need to play these games."
Being nearly killed by this woman's willfulness, no matter how pretty she was, Nash only saw her as a hanging piece of meat.
Although it was thanks to her that he ended up in this world, he still held a grudge.
"Oh? It seems you're holding a grudge against me? What's the matter?"
"You don't know what you did?" Nash frowned, seeing the innocence in her eyes.
Being a master at reading people, he could tell—it was either Camilla had perfect acting skills or her thinking was so twisted that even killing an innocent man meant nothing to her.
"What did I do? I remember we only met once. Although I coveted your body, I didn't force you or anything," Camilla said cluelessly.
Aside from inviting Nash to join the gang, she hadn't done anything directly to him.
"Hmph! Because of you, I nearly starved to death! Your lackeys tried to cripple me just to get me into your bed!"
"Ah, this… I'm sorry..." Camilla bowed sincerely.
Although it wasn't her intention, her subordinates must've hunted Nash to please her.
Unfortunately, focused on her training, she hadn't given much thought to the pretty boy she saw in her passing
After Nash rejected her invitation, she'd already forgotten about him and moved on with her day.
She didn't expect her subordinates to be so persistent that they nearly drove him to death.
"Tsk, 'sorry' isn't nearly enough for the life you took," Nash muttered quietly.
Though this time, his anger had weakened to the minimum.
Having been a high-ranking figure in his previous life, he understood it wasn't easy at the top.
Every word and action from people like them was overly analyzed and twisted.
In the past, while dining with a business partner, he joked that the food was so bad it might be poisonous.
The next day, the restaurant was immediately shut down and investigated.
Although nothing was found after the investigation, the restaurant could no longer operate after it was boycotted by people to death.
Nash didn't even know this until the family that owned the restaurant committed suicide in front of his company.
Even then, aside from surprise, he didn't feel much and simply continued with his work.
Through that experience, Nash realized that Camilla likely hadn't cared at all.
Her silence had been mistaken by her subordinates as indifference or fury.
Sighing, Nash instantly lost his mood.
What right did he have to stay angry when he used to think the same way?
For all he cared, the world could burn as long as he was comfortable and had something to eat.
"I'm truly sorry. How about I give you some compensation?" Camilla said sincerely.
She didn't know why, but although she was initially only attracted to Nash's appearance, she now felt a strange closeness and affinity toward him.
"No need to bother. Just let me out of this place—I still have things to do."
"Alright, alright, I'll let you out."
Although Camilla wanted to force Nash to stay, feeling guilty for what had happened, she could only relent.
Watching his lonely back as he walked out of the room, Camilla's eyes were filled with determination.
"Hmph! I already said sorry and you still left?! What an indifferent man..." Camilla smirked, interest brewing in her heart.
"If I find you again in the future, you better be ready. By then, you won't be able to escape..."
Nash, looking for a seat to rest for the remainder of the journey, suddenly shuddered.
"What was that?"
