"Take off your dress." His command cut through the room like a blade.
I stood frozen, the crimson silk dress clinging to my sweat-dampened skin. My body burned from the inside out, my heat making every touch, every sensation almost unbearable.
"I said, take it off." His voice was firmer now, layered with Alpha authority that made my knees weak.
With trembling fingers, I reached for the thin straps of my dress. My mind screamed in protest, but my body—my treacherous, heat-consumed body—responded to his authority. I slid the straps down my shoulders, letting the silken fabric pool at my feet.
The cool air kissed my naked skin, making me shiver despite the fire raging inside me. I stood before him completely exposed, my arms instinctively moving to cover myself.
