He was running. Fast. The view in his dream kept getting closer, and closer… until suddenly, it felt real. Like in 1st person. His legs wouldn't stop running. And he didn't want to know what he was running from.
Eventually, he did look back. It was… big. About the size of a bear. He couldn't tell what the hell it was, though…
Do to the damned rocks in his path, he tripped. "Oh, fuck…" Ben murmurs.
He thinks that his life may soon be over. But… it wasn't? Because suddenly, the beast is gone. It's on the floor, an arrow in it's side. And there is a girl.. no, a boy, by its side. This boy yanks out the arrow, wiping it on his shirt.
"Woah… cool shit." Ben murmurs. The boy quickly turns around and peers at the blonde teen. He holds up one of his arrows. "Who… are you? And why do you look like… him?"
"L-like… who?" Ben is confused now. The boy scoffs and walks close to him, holding up a wanted poster. "What do you mean 'like who'?! You look like the guy who wanted to dethrone the King!"
"Dethrone the king?! Never!" Ben backs away into the tree, his heart racing.
"You're… not?" He looks back at the paper, and his eyes widen. "You're… not." He pulls up his hood just a bit to peer at his face. "Yes… you're not. The young man that's wanted… his eyes are hardened, and cold. But yours are soft, and warm, that of a hero! Come, traveller, I must tell the others!"
Ben is dragged by the hand through the forest. Damn, he's confused, but… at the same time, this just feels right.

Eventually, Ben is dragged to a tavern in the village. He's never went in this one, he wasn't allowed to. But, without falter, this new boy pushes open the door with a loud 'clank'. He leads Ben into the back corner, talking all the way.
"So anyways, I'm Lee. Unwilling bounty hunter, archer, and generally outcasted individual." He explains as he leads Ben to a table with one other boy, a hanky tall one.
"That's Hashan, he's a retired monk! So he fights a lot."
Hashan nods in acknowledgment, then turns to Lee. "Lee… what have I said about bringing youngings to the tavern?"
"No! Listen," Lee insists. "This kid… he's gonna save us all!"
