Meanwhile Amber walked to a darker place and disappeared, soon she was in front of Denzel's apartment. Taking a deep breath she rang the door bell, taking a few seconds to fix her hair and clothes
The door opened and Denzel's face came to view, he looked surprised to see her
"Amy...."
"Hunny" Amber called with a pout
Denzel looked around first then he squinted his eyes at her, Amber raised a brow in inquiry
"What did you just call me?" He asked
Amber paused before replying
"Hunny"
"Since when did you start calling me hunny?" He asked again
"Since today" she replied again
"Are you high? Did you take drugs by mistake?"
"What the f*ck do you mean by that?" She yelled and huffed in anger
"I mean..... I'm sorry it's just so sudden that you called me hunny. You don't like calling me that, I was just flustered" he said
"Still it's not wrong to call you hunny is it?"
"No no... But.... Nevermind"
"But what?"
"You left here not long ago" Denzel said and Amber paused again
'Shit! did that bitch just leave here?' she thought with furrowed brows
"Amelia... Babe" Denzel called and Amber suddenly snapped her head at him, startling him, Denzel moved back in shock
"Well.... I just decided to come back and stay for the night"
"After breaking up with me?" Denzel asked and Amber looked at him in shock

Amelia opened her door and got into her apartment, immediately she switched on the light she jolted and screamed in shock
"What the heck Adrielle!!"
"Isn't calling my name a little disrespectful?" Darcia asked
Amelia rolled her eyes at this and kept her bag on the couch
"You don't look happy" Darcia said
"It's none of your business" Amelia snapped and Darcia shook her head
"Where are you off to?"
"Why do you keep asking me such absurd questions?"
"Cos I'm curious" Darcia said and leaned closer. "Com'n tell me"
"I'm going to Italy, happy now?"
"Why?"
"Why else do I want to go to Italy, my mom is sick and I quit working for that jerk" Amelia said and walked into her kitchen while Darcia leaned on her chair lazily and crossed on leg ontop the other
Off course she was loving this already
"Why did you quit?" She asked
"Can you believe that ass hole?, he tried to force himself on me" Amelia scoffed as she came back to the living room with two glasses of juice
She stretched one to Darcia who declined politely
"Why would he try that?"
"Okay, I agree I did accept his offer of taking a little information from Denzel after he agreed to treat my mom... But then I went to his place to tell him I wasn't going to do it anymore... And that mother fvcking ass wipe tried to force himself on me"
"I wonder how you managed to get out of his grip"
"I just grabbed a vase close by and smashed it on his head" Amelia replied casually
"When will you be leaving?"
"Tomorrow, I already arranged myself for it, I wanna get as far away as possible from that idiot" Amelia said
"Mr Washington..."
"Oh well, I already broke up with him tonight. We were never in a real relationship anyway, he liked me more than I did him so keeping his hoped up will only hurt him further.... I like him but not that kind of like... You get it right?"
"Mmm" Darcia nodded lazily but her mind was obviously elsewhere
Darcia scoffed as she realized something, Amber was in the human world as Amelia and she was headed to Denzel's house. But she doesn't know Amelia and Denzel already broke up
"She's more stupid than I thought" Darcia thought with a scoff
As per Amber's nature, she would want to sweet talk her way back in to Denzel's heart
"We've been friends since we were little and he's always had a crush on me, so after college we decided to give it a shot but no matter how hard I try I wasn't able to like him the same way he did, I was only protective of him.. because he's really clumsy and can get hurt easily" Amelia said and Darcia looked down
Her black hair fell on her face covering her already dark cold eyes.

"What?!" Amber gasped in shock
"Hmm?" Denzel blinked at her
He's a little shocked, Amelia left few minutes ago just to come back acting weird
"I mean.... I'm sorry was breaking up with you it wasn't intentional, I was high" Amber said but Denzel still had the suspicious look on his face
"Com'n babe" Amber pouted
"I..... But .. but you said you're leaving for Italy with your mom" Denzel said
Amber tightened her fist angrily and stared straight into Denzel's eyes
"We never broke up, I am Amelia your girlf..." But Amber couldn't complete her sentence because her hair was suddenly pulled from behind
"Argghhh" she screamed but the person kept pulling her hair until they got outside
Darcia let go of Amber's hair and pushed her
"You're such a shame... You and your foolish mother are both witless"
"Haa....you seem very protective of your employee." Amber said and Darcia sighed out
"Stop provoking me Amber, I'm warning you stay away from him"
"You think I'll obey just because you said so?"
"I know my way around you Amber, don't mess with me"
"Ohhh-hhhh is it what I'm thinking?" Amber wiggled her brows with a smirk on
"Just know I warned you" Darcia said
"Well we'll see about that" Amber said and vanished right there
Darcia sighed and turned but stopped when she saw Denzel staring wide eyes at him
"Is it heartbreak or did Amelia just disappear?" He asked
Darcia walked to him maintaining an eye contact
"Sleep" she said lowly and he immediately fell on her arms
Darcia looked around before carrying him in a bridal style, she teleported into his room and dropped him on his bed
She stroked his hair as she watched him sleep
Her mind went back to what Amelia had said earlier

"I feel you like him, I feel you like him very much... But I just hope he doesn't get hurt,.... If he does I'm gonna haunt you"
"And what makes you think I'm gonna hurt him?"
"Everything about you screams mystery and danger, I just hope he doesn't get into it"

"I know it's gonna be hard but I'm going to protect you with every strength in me"
Darcia looked at him again and scoffed as if mocking herself, never in her did she think she'd get whipped this hard
Falling for a human, a weak one at that
"What an irony" she chuckled.
