In the end all ended well for the Anderson family, after another 1 hour and 20 minutes of intense pain a doctor capable of fully repairing her body was found, then the father killed as many beast as his fleeting stamina allowed, took a break and went to kill again.
Thankfully his wife wasn't lying when she said he was good at killing them, since they never saw him bleeding from returning from hunts. Eventually all monsters either died or fled and he decided that it was time to head home.
They eventually did and on mutual understanding they eated in silence and separated from one another.
The father felt a void forming in his heart after all his family was together but they looked so far apart, both his wife and daughter talked like they had no will to live. He could kick away any creature but he couldn't make them forget the neverending despair that clawed them.
And that makes him sad even depressed he probably was the only one not affected by the horowing day after all the two most important people in the world were sad and it was his job to see the bright side and pull them out of their misery.
Still that proved to be harder said then done the tone of their voices when they talked send a shiver in his spine he remembered one day before his daughter was happyly messing with him trying to get away going to school now she barely talked and when she did he wished to forget how sad and heavy her voice sounded like she grew 80 years older lozing the young innocence in her voice.
His wife was even worse he always remembered her strong,supporting always coming together in the little hut content whith had she had never asking for more, now she looked like someone at deaths door deadly pale murmuring in her sleep waking up sweating at least five times each night when she talked she was like a 90 old woman who struggled to not lose her voice cords each time he hugged her begging her to stay in his embrace and each thime she gently pushed him away saying she was fine.
The wife was desperate because she had to endure watching her daughter scream in pain for more then two hours and supposedly be happy because she got away lightly. She didn't disagree but rationality didn't beat her motherly nature. Also the fact that she saw the fate of the other kids didn't help either.
The daughter on the other hand inwardly blamed herself from all of this wandering if the hours of pain were her punishment and she was allowed to live just to repay a small amount of her dept.
What i'm supposed to do go out and fight i will surely die, still sitting home didn't feel good either she wasn't happy here she felt like she was suffocating every wall, reminding her last days of peace.
Then the announcement of Alosious reached their ears, however wants to help they are welcome to come to the hospital.
Finding a new purpose she begged her father to go she felt so desperate to do anything even clean dishes felt better than looking at the walls of the house.
And so they went what they met was madness.
As soon as they walked into the hospital a dirty smelling disheveled young man tried to sell them soap in exchange for food, preferably a whole bread. Then walking farther inside 5 tall bulky men tried to force her father into an alley to recruit him in a gang called Women "Killers" promising him to find him a nice beauty if he proved his worth. Thankfully a kind stranger kicked them away otherwise she would have to engrave to her mind the scary version of her father.
She was content knowing him only as her guardian angel that knew everything and loved her unconditionally. The stranger walked them through the hospital and told them what parts to avoid and what not and why.
Apparently the square of the hospital had different sections and if you walked inside the gangs section they had the right to do whatever they wanted with you. The 5 bulky men tried to push him of the neutral zone to theirs if they succeeded the neutrals had no right to intervene even of they knew it was trough force. Thankfully the entire building of the hospital was occupied by the neutrals and the rest of the streets were the gang's territories. Apparently there was a reason the announcement emphasized the need to enter through the specific street.
Inside the hospital was well a hospital in there lot of humans with all kinds of age were in the hallway the 5 floors were occupied by the brim with sick people or simply people who gave up and simply sulked inside them therefore the rest had to somehow make space for everyone else on this hallway, a feat simply impossible due to the fact that they were two to three times more people in here then the normal capacity making the air inside feel suffocating.
Obviously they were tents in the small courtyard and parking lot of the hospital but since it was outside any of the gangs would terrorize the people living outside just in hopes to join them, Ellionore couldn't understand why the neutrals weren't allowed to enter their territory but they seemed to enter theirs undisputed.
After going inside the man who saved them led them to a lovely table and made a gesture for them to sat down.

The father tried to talk but Ellionore beat him to it.
He will help on the condition you find a job for both of us or actually just me i don't know how my mom feels. Anything will do washing dishes carring food as long as you don't forget about me just because im not useful and protect us he will help.
The father made a surprised face this was the first time his daughter talked so much like ever not only that but she didn't stumbled once, not at all scared talking to this stanger. Not only that but her voice returned to her lively past melodic sound riding of the tone of despair in fact she actually sounded desperate the way she stretched her voice when she said "just because im not useful" didn't escape his notice he would love to tell her she wasn't useless but in the end he just nodded in agreement.
My wife is a excellent cook and she has been responsible for growing food in my courtyard for five years with her earth element as long as you make sure she can cook with the others and don't isolate her i think she would be more then happy to help.
She looked him with an amusement look her face clearly saying. I actually would prefer being alone. But the husband pretended to not notice if she had something to say she was free if her daughter pushed past her fears then his wife need to step up her game to. Still she didn't say anything seemingly not caring enough

I will offer my services by going outside the hospital and all across the town bringing the essentials to here i have a functioning motorcycle, a vast experience killing these things and in a desperate need to not get kidnapped in a random evening. Also my profession is a woodcutter and i have experience as a builder so i can actually help in case something breaks and provide with firewood, as long as you don't make me hurt humans im more than happy to go to town and slay the beasts.
But they are dangerous aren't you scared a single mistake and you die who will take care of your family then?
So what the only thing i need to do is not do that mistake im done fearing my shadow if my daughter can surpass her fears and try to help its my job to show her by example.
