A small, confident smile was evident on his lips as if he owned the place.
"Let them go, Mona. Customers should always be prioritized. We can discuss things in the lobby," Victor said, standing behind the woman, while a Richard Mille RM 11-03 – McLaren Edition was wrapped in his hand.
She turned. "But sir, I'm sure they are here just to sightsee, and only VIPs are supposed to enter that room. I don't know why that newbie is taking them there," she grumbled in a bitter tone.
Victor shifted his focus. "Caroline, take them in," he said in a sharp tone.
Caroline nodded with a smile and finally opened the door.
However, "You can join too. I don't mind sharing the room," Augustus said, looking at the man named Victor with a light smile.
He tilted his head with a thoughtful expression. "Hmmm, sure, that works for me. Let's share the room," he agreed with a smile and began walking.
Augustus smiled back and finally stepped into the room. A meeting table was presented before him along with a large 100-inch TV. He took in the view, then David and everyone followed, including the rude woman.
Once everyone grabbed their seats, an awkward silence permeated the room. "Go on, you can begin with him. I'll wait," Victor reassured Caroline, breaking the silence.
She nodded with a bright smile and gently stood up, walked towards the 100-inch big screen, turned it on, and began. "Sir Augustus, can I know what exactly you're looking for here?"
Augustus mumbled with a thoughtful expression. "Yes. We are shifting our small game development office to a bigger one. I want the best office there is, where employees can happily work and enjoy," he vaguely responded.
She nodded and perked up. "Understood, sir. I have the perfect office to show you," she stated with a confident smile. And many images began to show up on the 100-inch screen, making it look like Augustus was right in front of the real office.
"Ahem," she cleared her throat and displayed a sleek skyscraper. "Empire Building isn't just where business gets done—it's where empires are built," she stated confidently.
Then switched to a view of a spacious, empty floor. "23rd floor. 10,000 square feet of premium workspace in Bridgemont's financial core." Images began cycling as Augustus listened intently.
"It's fully furnished—from stone-inlaid floors and executive lounges to glass strategy rooms and smart-wired infrastructure. And when it's time to recharge?"
She smiled. "You've got an entertainment lounge, indoor games, nap pods, and creative breakout zones. It's not just an office—it's a legacy in motion. All this for $6,200,000," she finished, turning with pride.
A wide smile appeared on Augustus's face. This is exactly what I was looking for, he mused. "I'll take it," he stated firmly, short and crisp.
David's eyes widened. A clear shock could be seen on his face, while amusement flickered on Victor's. As for Caroline, she was grinning from ear to ear.
"You won't regret it, sir. And this project's name is Crest Legacy 23, which means it is one of the best projects that Havencrest takes pride in," she enthusiastically articulated, double-selling it.
"What do you think, David? And… Victor, right? Please share your opinion as well. I want the best there is," he mumbled while glancing at them.
"I don't know… I'm speechless," David mumbled and shook his head, choosing to remain silent.
However, "I don't think you'll get anything better than that. And with Crest Legacy added to it, it's like a stamp of quality," Victor said in a casual tone. Surprise flickered in his eyes. Caroline nodded quickly, unable to contain agreement with a smile.
Augustus easily decided. "Alright, let's get the paperwork done," he declared with a warm smile. Then changed his expression.
"But I'll pay a down payment of $250,000 now, and after 30 days of the Due Diligence Period, I'll clear everything," he said in a serious tone. Since he had checked his balance, this was the only way.
| New Balance: $536,990.87
He still had to pay $5,950,000. I'm sure I can pay that in 7–10 days with system tasks, so 30 days is more than enough time.
"Alright, sir. That is not a problem. I'll get the paperwork done." Caroline easily agreed, half-expecting it, and added, "If you're paying by card, sir, please use that," and pointed out in a gentle tone.
Augustus smiled and pulled out his card, then typed the amount in the machine and swiped it.
Ting…
"There. The payment is done," he mused.
Damn, swiping away $250,000 didn't even make me feel like I just lost that much money, he shook his head and glanced back. "Can you please show us the property?"
"Of course, sir. And could you please sign here?" she asked with a happy smile, eyes twinkling with delight.
With each sale, she would get a 3% commission on the total sale, which translated to a whopping $190,000 for her. That was easily a couple of months of salary.

Once the signing process was done, "Thank you, sir," she mumbled, then glanced at the only other woman.
"Thank you, Mona, for giving me the opportunity," she said with an innocent smile.
Mona's fist clenched, though she kept smiling—the kind of smile when someone steals your parking spot and has the audacity to wave.
Victor, on the other hand, let out a low chuckle, catching the jab immediately.
Augustus smirked. "Caroline, I would like to give you $10,000 for your amazing service," he casually mumbled with a small smile.
Her eyes widened slightly. "S-sure, sir," she hesitatingly agreed.
Augustus pulled out his limited edition iPhone and scanned Caroline's phone for the payment.
He typed in the amount and sent the payment. With a chime, she received it, and her eyes... flickered with confusion.
"Uhm, sir, you've s-sent me $100,000," she said, voice cracking.
"Is that so?" He furrowed his brows. "Maybe I mistakenly added another zero."
"I'll send it back quickly—"
"Just keep it. I'm very happy with the office you suggested," he said with a soft smile.
Her eyes widened, brows shooting up, and with a surprised expression, "T-thank you, sir," she stammered, while instinctively glancing at Mona.
System, what kind of things are you making me do? Isn't this too flashy? he mused.

Oh, I have no complaints anymore he mused with a happy smile.
Then, as if it was nothing, he stood and shifted his focus. "David, can you please go and check the property? I'll ask the lawyer to accompany you there," he asked.
"David?" he repeated.
"Huh?… S-sure." He had been unknowingly staring at Augustus.
After coming to his senses, "But what would you be doing?" he questioned in a dazed manner, still shocked by whatever was going on in this room.
Augustus smirked faintly. "Calm down, David. There's more to come," he said. This system really is something, he mused and added,
"As for me? I'll be doing something productive—like learning how to drive from a good driving school," he mumbled with a knowing smirk.
If I'm completing the task and bringing in money, it's productive, right? he thought.
Victor, who had been witnessing everything with an amused expression, finally spoke. "You want to learn how to drive?" he asked with narrowed eyes.
Augustus nodded with an embarrassed expression while scratching his cheeks.
"I just know the place—Stewart Horizon Institute. Want to check it out? I'll take you there. It's the best in Bridgemont City," he asked in an excited tone.
Augustus shrugged. "Sure."
