Chapter 3
In a mysterious, realm Tabuyashi wakes up to find himself surrounded by spirits of his forefathers, yet he has not come to realize who they were since their faces were not visible.
One stepped up and greeted him, "Tabuyashi, we have seen the horror's which have descended on you and your family, We mourn with you son. But now is not the time to rest, or join us in this void of emptiness".
He looks at him and desperation clouded his mind,"What can I do, I failed at protecting my family, I have nothing", They stare at him and the mysterious spirit continues,"Your son is not amongst the dead, he still continues to live as we speak". Upon hearing those words Tabuyashi looks up in disbelief and stands up, he looks at him and asks him how does he know this is facts he speaks of.
The spirit places his hand on his head and shows him a view from a eagle which was passing by when the ninja was killed, and Rui walking with Suko."Oh my god, you speak the truth. Thank you, now i may rest knowing he is safe". The spirit tells him there is a way for him to return, to seek out to truth, avenge his family and save the realm from the evil that surrounds the royal family."How will that be possible, I died".
The Spirits all draw their katana's, Held them with two hands before their faces and a white aura burned on their swords."Tabuyashi, close your eyes. Imagine your son, the village you lived in, the feel of the earth, the wind, the sun. Once you have them sinked into your mind, take a deep breath".
As Tabuyashi commences this task, he feels a warmth on his neck, a shock flows through his body, and in an instant his body burns as all the spirits enter him and reconstructs his body. A bliding white light shines and all the spirits, including Tabuyashi vanish in the blink of an eye.
Birds chirp and sing in the distance, water splashes and flows, Tabuyashi feels the sun warming his face and body as the grass comfortably cushions his body. His eyes slowly open and he wakes up in a field next to a forest, he gets up and scans his surroundings and realises he is close to his village, nearly a few miles out. He gets up and remembers the conversation he had with the spirits, his mind starts overthinking, "Am i really alive, how is this even possible, I dont feel any pain, no wounds from my last battle, how??".
As soon as his thoughts almost overwhelmed him the spirit spoke,"Tabuyashi, be calm. There is no need to be scared, we have entrusted our spiritual energy to you, we have faith you can save your bloodline and the realm from total chaos. There are many who have been corrupted by the darkness which has arisen, your time in hidding has saved you from the many evils which have befallen the kingdom. It is up to you to discover who the minions and followers of this unknown evil is and destroy them, I shall be your guide. Now lets go find your son".
Tabuyashi was silent as the spirit spoke and just nodded and said,"Ok"
Upon arriving home, Rui asked Suko to sit down so that they could have a talk. "Suko, after you were dropped off I had a lot of questions running around in my head. But I never let them overshadow my humanity. I need you to tell me the truth, as in from the beginning and how you got here."
Suko sat there and wondered how he should start explaining to Rui how all this unfolded. With tears in his eyes he started his first sentence, "My father was the leading commander of the nations army, not only that, he was the main guard of the royal family, as his father before. One day, a man walked in with guards and began accusing my dad of treason. We believed royal family would deny these accusations as they knew my dad and his loyalty to their family, but the weren't themselves. They cast us out and labeled us as enemies to the crown, and so we have been hunted down for months, traveling from region to region." Rui sat there and listened with a worried look in his eyes, as he just rescued a fugitive.
Where are your parents now?, Rui asked, "They are dead, they held off the ninja as I escaped."
Rui got up, picked up his Katana and hunting knife and told Suko to follow him. "It seems you need training, and due to the circumstances we don't have time to waste, lets go." In another part of the forest Tabuyashi has arrived upon their home, scanning the surroundings before entering the home. The first thing he does is pick up his wife's corpse and take it outside for a decent burial. He prayed over the grave and proceeded to look for his son. Tabuyashi walked towards the city, believing that's the first place his son might be, with a raging voice thirsting for vengeance, "I'm coming Suko".
He ran through the forest, dodging trees and rocks, as he ran, he got an instant pull, as if an entity pulled him into a different direction and as he tried wrapping his mind around what just happened, a voice spoke, "Not so fast Tabuyashi, look closely at that bush you almost ran past." Tabuyashi heard a low growl and out emerged a big black panther, with blood stains all over it and a bloody mouth. The panther approached him slowly, with an unsatisfied hunger and blood lust in its eyes." The spirits tell Tabuyashi not to worry and to borrow his body for this fight. Tabuyashi closed his eyes and in a deep mysterious voice he said, "Kogeki" once that word was said, his eyes, they glowed with a blazing white color. He walked casually towards the panther and commenced to run towards it in a ninja walk fashion, and in the same motion the panther also commenced his attack, Tabuyashi's body moved with swift speed and in an instant when they were about to clash, he vanished and appeared on top of the panther and with a might compared to gods he punched it into the ground, thinking the panther was done, he walked away and as he commenced to leave the panther got up, this time with glowing eyes of his own, a golden yellow glowed and it was giving off a challenging look, one that stated that it has finally found an opponent of his same caliber. "Hmmm, this was unexpected. Time to end this." Tabuyashi walked towards the panther and without wasting time he flash stepped and appeared in front of it and placed his hand on its head before commanding an order, "Foro Suru" and the panthers rage disappeared, it was no longer an enemy to Tabuyashi, but his follower, ally and protector. He followed him a short distance before he turned around and ordered it to not follow him. The panther turned and left, and Tabuyashi went on his way, while running he spots a little creature whimpering in the distance, and he immediately recognized it. It was Aries, Suko must have dropped him while he was running.
He picked him up and continued walking to the city.
