Chapter 35 - Secret Silver hammer and Secret Silver Cone

Stardust Avenue is the most bustling street in Stan City.

The meaning of "prosperous" does not mean lively and bustling, but rather that every store here is of the highest grade.

The best goods that can be purchased in the town must all come from the Star Dust Avenue. Similarly, as highly respected enchanters, most of them also have their own enchantment stores on the Star Dust Avenue.

However, the sorcerer that Carla took Stephen Debbie to find, although his shop was located on Stardust Avenue, was in an unremarkable alley on the main street.

That alley is the one behind Carla's magic bookstore.

At the end of the alley stands a simple thatched shed. Below it is a mess and darkness that is completely different from the street outside. The clanging and hammering sounds keep coming from the depths of the shed. From a distance, it looks like an ordinary blacksmith's shop, and it's a not-so-good one at that.

"Right here?" Debbie's face was filled with worry. The identity of an sorcerer was very noble. Seeing the shabby shop at the end of the alley, Debbie began to deeply consider whether her five gold coins were worth the money...

"Little girl, for different races, the meaning of nobility is not the same." Kara heard Debbie's complaint and turned her head with a smile. She pointed to the short and stocky figure faintly visible under the thatched shed and said, "This Duff from the Blue Mountains is the best enchanter in the entire city of Stan."

Hearing Carla's words, Stephen's heart stirred.

Blue Mountains?

Through that encyclopedia, Stephen learned a lot about this world. For instance, the dwarf race is divided into five major groups. Since the orthodox dwarves all live in caves at the foot of the mountains, the dwarf groups are named after the mountains and are divided into five major groups: Blue Mountain, Purple Mountain, Black Mountain, White Mountain and Dragon Mountain.

Carla called the short and stocky figure under the thatched shed "Duff from the Blue Mountains", and it was obvious that this was a dwarf from the Blue Mountains.

Dwarves like to live in caves. Their living environment is dark. Looking at the dark and messy appearance under the thatched shed, it is indeed similar to the living habits of giants.

"Duff, come out quickly. I've brought you an apprentice!" Carla bent down and shouted into the thatched shed.

The clanging and pounding sounds immediately ceased. The short and stocky figure put the hammer in his hand aside and slowly walked out of the thatched shed.

This is a man no taller than 1.2 meters, but he doesn't give people the impression of being weak. His figure is very strong. Although he is short, there seems to be countless powers hidden in his body. Dwarves are a natural fighting race, and their combat power is no weaker than that of warlike orcs. He looks to be in his fifties or sixties. Of course, the lifespan of dwarves is two hundred years. The age of fifty or sixty is still very young for dwarfs.

He had long black hair flowing freely, and a two-foot-long beard on his chin was tied up like a thin one. Probably because he had been splashed by sparks while blacksmithing just now, some small sparks could still be faintly seen on his beard.

This dwarf was wearing coarse linen clothes and a thick cloth apron. The apron was black and had many small black dots splashed out by sparks.

"Duff, this young fellow is called Hammerhead. He's very interested in the technique of enchantments. I hope you can teach him this technique." Carla stood on one side and said with a smile.

Dorff, taciturn, reached out his big hand full of old 蔃 to KARA.

Stephen and Debbie were both taken aback for a moment, and then the two of them got angry at the same time. Carla took out two gold coins from her cleavage and put them in Duff's hand: "These are tuition fees."

Noticing the angry expressions on Stephen and Debbie's faces, Carla said innocently, "Without my introduction, could you know the place?"

Debbie angrily waved the huge sword on her shoulder. With a clang, it landed on the ground, and her little face turned red as she looked at Carla.

Carla, however, had her expression as usual and began to play with her hair tips with a faint smile.

Duff looked at Debbie's huge sword and his eyes lit up. He walked up to Debbie, reached out and tapped the blade with a clattering sound, and said in a rough voice, "This sword is made of fine black iron and has some cold steel mixed in. It's of good quality, but unfortunately it's not bewitched. Do you want to bewitched your huge sword, little girl?" With just two gold coins, I can help you bewitch a "Fengxing" magic matrix.

"No need!" Debbie said gloomily.

Duff shook his head with a hint of regret, then glanced at Stephen again. His height could only reach Stephen's waist, but the expression on his face as he looked down at Stephen from a height carried a touch of haughty air: "If you want to learn to possess demons, then fine, follow me."

"Am I considered an apprentice?" Thinking of this matter, Stephen asked, "Then do we need to hold some ceremonies?"

"No!" Duff said somewhat coldly. He turned his head and glanced at Stephen. For some reason, Stephen saw something in his eyes... Theatrical torture?

This made Stephen a little puzzled. He patted Debbie, who was still angry, on the shoulder and bent down to walk into the thatched shed.

The temperature inside the thatched shed was extremely high. That scorching heat came from a huge stove inside the shed. The charcoal fire was burning fiercely, and some red-hot iron rods and sword pieces were inserted inside. Stephen wiped the sweat that was oozing from his forehead and looked at Duff. Well, the temperature was so high here, and Duff was still wearing thick linen clothes. The dwarf's constitution was indeed extraordinary...

I'll only explain the key points of enchantment once.

Dwarf Duff fished out two things from a nearby cabinet, both silver. One was a silver pendant and the other was a silver hammer. He went on to say: "Enchantment requires the use of a secret silver cone and a Secret silver hammer. The key points of enchantment are very simple: transfer the magic matrix to the Secret silver cone and the magic power to the secret silver hammer, and strike the armor or weapon to complete the enchantment." "

After saying these words, Duff tilted his head and looked at Stephen in silence.

Stephen waited for a while and found that Duff had no intention of saying anything else. So he asked in surprise, "Is that all?"

That's it. Duff nodded, and the teasing tone in his eyes deepened even more.

The technique of enchantment can be summed up in just one sentence...

Outside the thatched shed, Debbie was about to explode. With the rage of having bought a shoddy product, she looked at Carla furiously, as if she were about to swing her huge sword at Carla in the next moment.

Carla, however, remained calm and composed: "I've always said that the technique of enchantment can't be written in a book because there's only one sentence about the technique of enchantment. There's no skill involved at all. Some people can master the technique of enchantment in a day, while others have to spend a lifetime. And enchantment is a gift of dwarves. They are born knowing how to possess it..." I just said all these words.

There was also a hint of anger on Stephen's face, but soon he calmed down. He looked thoughtfully at the silver hammer and silver cone in Duff's hand: "Duff..." Master, may I have a try?

"Ha!" Duff casually placed the silver cone and hammer in his hand on the wooden cabinet in front of Stephen, and then took an iron sheet and put it in front of Stephen. "I can give you three chances to experiment. Haha, enchantments are a talent of dwarves. Although human mages can learn to be enchanted, it's that easy. If you can succeed within three attempts, Then I'll give you my Secret Silver cone and Secret silver hammer!

Doff said as he picked up another black wine bag from the cabinet beside him, unscrewed the lid and took a gulp. His eyes sparkled as if he was about to watch a good show.

No one except the dwarves can perfectly learn to possess demons after their first contact with the Silver Hammer and the Silver Cone.

This is common sense.

Outside the thatched shed, Carla also showed a curious expression, but judging from her appearance, she was going to take this matter as a form of entertainment.

Debbie's face showed a hint of anticipation, hoping that the hammerhead at her home could create a miracle, although... In fact, she has no confidence at all in her heart.

Stephen took a deep breath and picked up the Silver Hammer and the silver cone.

His heart stirred slightly. He felt that his mental power could be transmitted to the silver hammer and the silver cone through the contact of his palm. That feeling was just like holding a magic wand. Both the silver hammer and the silver cone were made of silver, and silver was a very wonderful substance that could react with magic power, engraving magic matrices on metals or some other magical items. The effect is similar to that of magic ink, but more powerful.

Transfer the magic matrix to the Secret silver cone and the magic power to the Secret silver hammer.

This is a very simple matter, but no one can accomplish it easily, unless that person's understanding of the magic matrix has reached the extreme, and they can regard tens of thousands of magic characters as a whole and package them into the Secret Silver cone. This is at least ten times more difficult than using a magic wand to cast magic. If it is impossible to send the magic matrix as a whole onto the Secret Silver cone, That magic matrix will completely disintegrate instantly upon contact with the secret silver.

Sure, there are always unexpected things.

Stephen was just an accident.

Lines of magical characters, in the eyes of an ordinary magician, are just characters. But in Stephen's eyes, based on his understanding of language programs in his previous life, he could already divide tens of thousands of magical characters into modules with special effects. This was his intuition about the formation of characters.

The sharp end of the Secret Silver cone touched the iron sheet. Magic had already been transmitted into the Secret silver hammer. Stephen waved his hand, and there was a bang. The Secret silver hammer struck the Secret silver cone.

Sparks are flying everywhere.

A wonderful pattern then appeared on the iron sheet.

Duff took a sip of wine and was about to give Stephen a mocking look as he usually did when he saw others attempting to be possessed, but when he saw the beautiful silver pattern on the iron sheet, he froze. The wine gushed out from the corner of his mouth.

"Enchantment..." Succeeded?
