Opening Scene
Night still lingers over Shibuya. Rain falls gently as the lights of the city cast soft reflections on the wet pavement. Aran (WD) and Mira sit side-by-side, recovering after the battle. A quiet moment—but tension brews beneath the surface.
WD (still breathing hard, eyes narrowed):
"Alright… I helped you. Now answer me."
Mira glances at him but doesn't speak.
WD (firm):
"Who are you? How do you know my name? You said things… that only someone from my past would know."
Silence.
WD (voice rising slightly):
"You were there, weren't you? In my dreams. The battlefield. The fire. You were there, Mira. You're from my past life... aren't you?"
Scene 1: The Truth Left Unspoken
Mira looks away, tightening her grip on her arm, which is still bleeding slightly.
Mira (quietly):
"I… can't tell you. Not yet."
WD (hurt, confused):
"Why?! Why can't you tell me the truth?"
Mira:
"Because if I do… you might remember everything all at once. And if that happens too soon, your soul could shatter."
WD (pauses, shocked):
"Shatter?"
Mira nods solemnly.
Mira:
"You don't just remember who you were, Aran. You become him again. The pain, the loss… the war. It could consume you."
WD looks down at his hand, clenched into a fist.
WD:
"I don't care. I need to know who I am."
Scene 2: Glimpses of the Past
Mira hesitates… but slowly reaches into her coat and pulls out a small, glowing pendant — half-cracked, pulsing faintly with red and blue light.
Mira:
"This was yours. In the old world."
As soon as WD touches it — FLASH→ A vision slams into his mind:
A younger Mira, standing on a crumbling cliff.
Aran, in his past form, reaching out to her as a war rages behind them.
Mira screaming:
"If you die here… I'll follow you into the next life!"
The vision ends. Aran stumbles back, dazed.
WD (whispers):
"You were… crying. You said you'd follow me…"
Mira's eyes shimmer, but she quickly turns away.
Mira:
"I shouldn't have shown you that. I'm sorry."
WD (softly):
"So it's true… you were with me back then."
Mira (coldly, cutting him off):
"Forget it. That version of me is dead. We both died, Aran. That world is gone."
Scene 3: Interrupted Again
Suddenly, the skies above ripple with strange energy.
Mira stiffens, her eyes scanning the horizon.
Mira:
"They've found us again. We need to move—now."
WD:
"Wait. Just tell me one thing—were we... close? Back then?"
Mira pauses, turns slightly.
Mira (soft, pained):
"Closer than you know."
She disappears into the shadows. WD stands alone for a moment, hand clutching the pendant.
WD (thinking):
"Who was I…? And who did I lose?"
Ending Scene: The Singularity Order Moves
Cut to a dark, futuristic temple. A woman in ceremonial robes stands before a circular portal.
Singularity Priestess:
"The Guardian stirs. Begin the Ritual of Reclamation. If he won't return to us willingly… we'll tear his soul apart to take it."
