I stand on the training grounds waiting for my opponent, a skinny young man with short black hair and glasses shows up, by his side a rapier, "my name is Terso and I'm your opponent for today" he says to me, the old wizard asks me to identify my name as it's courteous, "my name is Roku" i answer him.
The fight begins by Terso immediately lunging at Roku with his rapier, he's so fast Roku could barely keep up, Terso attacks with his magic imbued rapier, it's glowing red as it strikes Roku's blue sword, creating a show of mana.
The mana waves travel all across the magic school and people start observing this fight, Terso and Roku are fighting extremely fast and all over the place, it's as if a dragon is fighting a phoenix.
Roku has finished gauging Terso's power, he smiles and channels mana into his feet and ducks below Terso's belt and flips him, Terso tries to recover mid air but Roku has already jumped after him, Terso receives a mana infused kick right to his stomach completely disturbing all the mana flow in his body, rendering him completely defensless.
The wizard calls the fight, Roku is the winner, "young man, that kick, it wasn't just a normal mana kick, once your leg connected with his body, hundreds of mana needles entered his mana flow and completely disturbed it, it's genius, who taught you this?" The wizard says.
"Haha well, everything you saw is developed by me, i traveled from the atmost south of this continent and studied all the rare books i could find" Roku answers
The wizard named Reno welcomes Roku inside the school's library and tells him he could stay for 1 month and study whatever books he wants.
