UNKNOWN LOCATION
Maria got to the place, it was an abandoned warehouse in a secluded place, she had no idea a place like this existed.
There wasn't a single building in sight except for the abandoned warehouse and she sighed.
They didn't tell her anything about a ransome and that's what scared her the more, it seems they are not after money, then what?
What did that idiot Fernando get himself into again!!!
Maria breathed as she got down from her car and looking at the tall warehouse in front of her sighing heavily.
Her phone rang.
It's Isabelle.
"Where are you?" Isabelle asked.
"In an abandoned area" Maria replied with a sigh.
"What!? Why?" Isabelle asked, Maria contemplated wether to tell her or not as she looked at the building in front of her.
"Fernando got himself in trouble and am here to help as usual, he was kidnapped apparently" Maria said after a while.
"Are you crazy!? That's dangerous!" Isabelle said, her voice sounded frightened.
"Don't worry, it won't be more than money, I would handle it, I have to go now, bye" Maria said and hung up.
She sighed again and walked into the warehouse and it was empty.
There wasn't a single thing in sight, she entered further and turned and there she met Fernando.
Tied to a chair, his hands were tied behind the chair and his legs where tied to the chair's legs, his mouth was gag with a cloth. He wasn't blindfolded though.
"Fernando?" Maria called and he shook his head trying to talk to her but he was only rumbling, words couldn't form.
Maria made hurried steps to him to untie him.
"Step away from him" a lady's voice was heard behind Maria and she turned.
Clara was holding a gun pointing at them and Maria gulped down.
She should better not fire that gun, the bullet won't kill her but the sound definitely would.
"What do you want?" Maria asked calmly.
"For both of you to die" Clara said, her face expressionless and the gun was still pointed at them.
Fernando was still mumbling, his face showed that he was frightened as hell.
"We can resolve it, whatever Fernando owe you, I will pay, you don't have to fire that gun" Maria said still calm.
Beatriz walked into the warehouse with guards behind her and she stood beside Clara staring at Maria and Fernando.
"Do you know why you both are here? It's not about money" Beatriz said.
"Don't blame me for this, blame your father" Beatriz said again taking slow steps towards them.
'That stupid old man, even after death, he still found a way to make our lives miserable, I hope you're rotting in hell dad!' Maria thought as she looked at Beatriz.
"Do you want to know what your father did?" Beatriz asked looking at them.
"I don't care what my father did, what ever he did is between the both of you, you don't have to bring his children into it" Maria said and Beatriz chuckled.
"What your father did caused my son's life, what he did cost your step brother's life!" Beatriz yelled.
Maria wasn't surprised that her father had a son outside, she knew he was a womanizer that's why her mom never gets along with him, that's why they fight every single day.
"Alvaro is in hell, what he did has nothing to do with us, let me and my brother go" Maria said and Beatriz sighed.
"You're slow witted, killing you would ease my grieve" Beatriz said collecting a gun from one of her men and pointed it at Maria.
"I would kill you first and then your brother" Beatriz said and Fernando eyes widened, he mumbled and wiggle on the chair.
"Killing us won't bring your son back" Maria said and Beatriz chuckled.
"Of course it won't but I would feel better" Beatriz said and slide her hand into the trigger hole, aiming at Maria.
A loud gun shot was heard and Maria shrieked, closing her eyes tightly, she didn't feel any bullet on her or any pain but beads of sweat formed on her head.
Damn that was loud!
Maria heard the sound of another gun shot and she shrieked again, she didn't know what was happening cause her eyes were closed and Fernando has been mumbling but she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes.
The noise was affecting her badly, more gunshot was heard and Maria fell to the ground covering her ears with her palms her eyes still closed.
Soon the noise started fading slowly, it seems she was loosing consciousness.
"Maria!" She heard the familiar voice.
"Open your eyes, look at me" the voice cold yet distant said.
Maria slowly opened her eyes and saw Sebastian, he had a worried expression on.
She looked around and saw the two men Beatriz came in with on the ground, so was Clara and Beatriz..
Where's the woman?
Sebastian looked at her like her was searching for something on her face while she looked round for Beatriz and when he eyes caught the woman she had her gun pointed towards them about to shoot.
One of her hand had blood oozing out of it, it seems Sebastian shot her there but she was going to shoot Sebastian.
Maria looked back at Sebastian trying to form words but another gun shot was heard and Sebastian stiffened.
"are you okay?" Maria asked cause she saw he wasn't moving, her voice weak and low.
Sebastian turned and shot Beatriz on her chest making her fall to the ground.
"Wait here" Sebastian said to Maria and stood up properly walking towards Beatriz.
Maria looked at his retreating view, blood was oozing out of his left shoulder, Beatriz shot him.
"Isn't he feeling it?" Maria muttered.
Sebastian got to Beatriz who was still on the ground glaring at him with hate.
"I was glad my son killed your mother, she was a bitch, your parents deserve death and you're no different, I hope you rot in hell for killing my son" Beatriz said in hate.
Sebastian gave her a blank look and shot her straight on the forehead and she collapsed to the ground.
He knew he was bleeding from his left shoulder but that's not what mattered right now.
He turned to Maria who already mustered up the strength to get up and untieing her brother.
Sebastian turned towards the door walking out.
"Wait! You're bleeding let me help you" Maria said going after him she just finished untieing Fernando who was still in shock as his eyes roamed around the dead bodies.
"Take care of your brother am fine" Sebastian said plainly but Maria wasn't having it.
"At least let me treat you as a thank you, how did you even know I was here?" Maria asked but Sebastian ignored and walked out of the warehouse but Maria followed.
He got into the car he brought and turned to Maria.
"Stay away" he said before driving off.
Maria stood there biting her lips hard
What the hell does he mean by stay away.
Fernando came out of the warehouse breathing heavily.
"Who was that!?" He asked looking at Maria.
"Non of your business, and why are breathing as if you did anything!?" Maria yelled at him.
"I just witnessed the most brutal scene of course am scared, that man is scary, he took out of the guards" Fernando said in Fright and Maria rolled her eyes.
"How did you even get kidnapped, I always told you to be careful!" Maria said walking towards her car.
She was angry cause Sebastian ignored her and she's venting it out on Fernando who kept giving her reasons to.
"How was I supposed to know they would come to the gambling house and you're not even talking about the woman that almost killed us, what did Dad do to her?" Fernando asked walking after Maria.
"I have no idea and I don't give a shit either" Maria said and got into her car while Fernando followed.
"Just be extremely careful from now on" Maria Said and Fernando sighed.
"We should be more worried about the guy who took out all the guards" Fernando muttered and Maria ignored him.

BEVERLY HILLS
Sebastian got home, his body was so weak and the the blood had soaked his shirt.
He got inside the house and removed his shirt, how was he going to the remove the bullet when it was at his back.
He walked towards a mirror and sat in front of it, he brought out a scissors from the mirror's drawer and using the mirror as a reflection, he dipped the scissors into the wound looking till he got hold of the bullet and pulled it out.
It wasn't easy though cause he was sweating profusely and the pain was brutal.
He successfully removed the bullet and he breathed out, he dropped the scissors and looked at his reflection on the mirror.
His phone rang, Maria was calling him.
He didn't pick, he knew she was going to call but he was angry at her.
She was going to do something so dangerous and she decided not to tell him, what if something had happened to her.
Her daring attitude would definitely be the end of her.
If he hadn't put a tracking device on her and he had gotten there a little late, she would have been dead.
He had put a tracking device on her cause he knew his enemies would want to use her against him and he needed her safe, but he definitely didn't expect Beatriz.
Sebastian sighed heavily, maybe he should Stay away from her for sometime, now that Beatriz is dead, things would get more complicated after all she's a member of the la gente.
The phone rang a few more times and then she stopped calling.
He treated his wound and went upstairs laying on the bed.

MARIA'S HOUSE
After dropping off Fernando, Maria called Sebastian but he didn't pick.
Does he seriously want to make it a habit of not picking her calls?
She squeezed her hand around the wheel as she drove roughly, stopping her car and getting down.
Isabelle was at the door.
"You're alive!" She screamed and hugged Maria.
"Do you want me dead belle?" Maria said.
"I have been waiting here for you to show up, I was so worried, what did Fernando do this time" Isabelle asked as Maria walked into the house.
"He didn't do anything surprisingly, this time it's my dad" Maria said and Isabelle stiffened.
"Oh, are you alright?" she said.
"Don't give me pity face, I will take a shower, hope you cooked" Maria said and went upstairs.
"Of course I did, you're going to taste a very good food from chef belle" Isabelle yelled.
