I woke up suddenly, but the strange thing was that I neither could move nor open my eyes. And suddenly, I heard the sound of someone's feet. It felt like someone was coming near me, but I was still unable to get up.
I heard a sound as if she had taken out her sword. I tried to move, but it didn't work at all. She came near me and slowly started laughing near my ears. And I felt like something sharp touched my hand. I felt very scared. Then suddenly, everything became normal.
I opened my eyes and saw that someone was coming from the gate – a beautiful woman. The whole room had become so beautiful, like a dream. But I noticed that as she was coming closer, darkness was also coming behind her.
She said, "Fengxi, my beautiful daughter." I suddenly realized that she was my mother! I felt strange because my mother had passed away years ago, so was this her spirit?
She came to me and said, "My child, I feel so lonely. I've come here to take you with me. Would you like to come?" I was about to say yes then I remembered that this wasn't a good sign – if a spirit asks you to come with them, it means they want your life!
As soon as I remembered this, I suddenly got up. I was completely drenched in sweat, and my heartbeat was beating very fast.
I said to myself, "It's all just a dream, nothing else." But even while saying this, I felt scared. I thought I should sleep, yeah, it was just a dream.
I was just about to sleep again when I noticed that there was a cut on my hand in the same places as I felt in the dream.
I got scared and sat up in bed, taking my sword and looking around. I had never felt that scared before.
Suddenly, I heard the sound of someone breathing. I looked around, but there was no one there. Suddenly, I noticed that the sound was coming from under my bed.
I became even more scared. On one hand, my mind was thinking that there was nothing, while my heart was saying that there was something.
My voice was shaking a little as I said, "If anyone is here, come out. I promise I'll give you money..." But no one came out.
I remembered that Liyu's room was nearby, so I decided to shout her name – "LIYU, LIYU!!!!!!"
She came to my room and was about to come near me, but I stopped her and gave her a sign that someone was under the bed. She lit up the candles and carefully came to her knees to check.
Liyu came to me and held my hand, showing me someone. "Look, Master, here is someone." She grabbed someone's hand and made her stand in front of me.
I saw Liying, and... I slapped her. She quickly went down on her knees and begged for forgiveness. "I slapped her again." "How dare you come here?" She said, "Please give me a chance to explain everything, please."
I said, "Okay." She explained that after I couldn't work for you because you rejected me , i followed you and came here without getting caught.
At first I hid in the bathroom but suddenly you came I hid in a corner, but as I tried to move my legs a little, idk how you heard the sound of my feet and I was just about to get caught when liyu came there and I was saved,
I realised that it is very dangerous to stay here like this, so i made a plan to leave at night then i stole some food from the kitchen.
Liyu said, "So, you're the one who stole my special dish." I said, "Liyu, let her complete."
Liying apologized to Liyu and continued explaining. She said i hid behind the curtain and planned to take your money while you slept.
But my hairpin fell on your hand and hurt you by mistake, and then i hid under your bed in the dark.
I was furious. "You dare to follow me, you dare to hurt me, you dare to try to steal something. Can I kill you now?"
Liyu stopped me and said, "We can't kill her." I pulled her back and asked, "According to you, what should we do with her?"
Liyu replied, "Master, she wants to work for you. Give her approval.
We don't have a servant yet, and I have other work to do, so this isn't a bad idea."
I nodded. "Okay, then tell her the rules and work." Liyu explained, and Liying nodded, thanking me. Liyu said,
"Wait, you can't call Master 'Master' because she is my Master. So, you have to call Master 'Miss Liu'."
Liying said, "Okay, Miss Liyu, I got it."
I said, "Now you both can leave now ."
