Chapter 161 - Chapter 161: The Rescue of K’s Beloved and Wife

K spoke coldly, "Yes, it is indeed I. Why, Lord Navi, do you appear displeased to see me? I have traveled from afar to pay you a visit—you ought to be glad."

The officer named Navi glared at K. "Have you lost your mind? Do you realize I could order my soldiers to kill you at any moment?"

K chuckled softly. "Sir, are you trying to intimidate me? Threaten me? But this is hardly the first time. I believe it is you who should be afraid. If my brothers here accidentally end your life, it would be a great pity for you—and many women would no longer be able to enjoy your company."

Navi's expression darkened. "Do you even understand what you're doing? Believe me when I say you won't leave this base alive."

"That is of no concern to me," K replied calmly. "What matters is whether you will release my beloved and child. Otherwise, you will suffer greatly." K then cast a meaningful glance toward Lin.

Suddenly, a sinister and chilling murderous intent flickered across Lin's face; the temperature around him plummeted several degrees, causing Navi to shiver involuntarily.

An icy blade materialized in Lin's hand once more, its frigid edge pressed against Navi's back. "We are not playing games. We will truly harm you." With that, Lin drove the blade deep into the muscles of Navi's back, the cold numb pain surging instantly through his body.

Navi cried out but snarled fiercely, "If you want me to free your wife and child, forget it! Even if you kill me, I will never let them go!"

Lin withdrew the blade and delivered a powerful kick to Navi's head. "Damn you for being so stubborn..."

With a loud thud, Navi nearly lost consciousness. "Bastards, even if you kill me, I won't free you..."

Lin plunged the blade into Navi's back again.

Suddenly, Xiao Feng grabbed Lin's wrist. "Let me handle this."

Lin shot Xiao Feng a puzzled look, then stepped aside.

Xiao Feng drew a standard-issue Alliance soldier's dagger from his waist. Grasping Navi's hair, he lifted his head and pressed the dagger sharply against his throat.

Navi's face turned icy cold.

"This is your final warning: release them now, or I will kill you."

"Come on, kill me if you want—I won't free them!" Navi remained defiant.

Xiao Feng increased his grip, forcing Navi's head higher. Navi glared fiercely at K, who returned the gaze coldly. Though K was unsure of Xiao Feng's intentions, he sensed that Xiao Feng would extract the truth of his beloved and child's whereabouts.

The dagger pressed firmly against Navi's neck, Xiao Feng's voice icy and relentless: "Last chance. Will you talk, or not?"

Navi's eyes blazed with fury. "No..."

Before he could finish, Xiao Feng slashed horizontally across his throat, severing a major artery. Blood sprayed wildly.

A woman nearby screamed, but Lin quickly silenced her with a hand over her mouth, his tone deadly: "If you want to live, keep quiet!" Tears streamed down her face as she nodded.

"What are you doing?" K asked in shock.

Xiao Feng ignored him and coldly taunted Navi, "How does it feel? The sensation of dying?"

Navi's body convulsed, struggling desperately, but his hands were still bound to the bedposts. He never imagined that, with his captive leverage, they would actually dare to attack him. Over those brief seconds, sheer terror consumed him.

"On your way to hell, don't be afraid, hehe..."

"I... don't... want to die..." Navi croaked, his expression horrified, eyes wide with panic. In his fractured mind, he glimpsed the gates of hell and the demons within.

"Kai Feng..." K said, voice trembling with emotion.

"Mind your own business!" Xiao Feng snapped.

Just as Navi's life signs faded completely, Xiao Feng's left hand pressed over the wound. His healing power surged forth, swiftly sealing the gaping neck injury, restoring Navi's throat in moments.

Then, with a swift motion, Xiao Feng severed one of the shackles binding Navi's wrist. He flipped Navi's body over, pressing his right hand onto his chest. A crackling surge of electricity shot through him. Navi gasped deeply, his voice hoarse and ragged. "Ahhh..."

Navi stared at Xiao Feng in disbelief. "Who... who are you?"

K and the woman were stunned by Navi's revival, though Rush and Lin, familiar with Xiao Feng's healing abilities, remained composed.

Xiao Feng leveled his dagger at Navi. "I am the one you have longed to eliminate, the one you think about day and night—Xiao Feng."

Navi's eyes widened. "You're Xiao Feng? No wonder..." He noticed one arm could move again. Touching his neck, he found no wound, though the still-fresh blood proved all that had transpired was real.

"My patience is limited. If you don't tell me where they are, I'll make you experience that feeling again. I don't know how many times your blood can keep flowing."

Navi's fierce expression faded, replaced by subdued fear. The terror had crushed his arrogance. "I never expected that the turmoil rocking the entire Alliance was caused by someone so young... someone like you."

"Heh, I'm not interested in debating that. This is your final chance: release them or don't." Xiao Feng's dagger hovered once more over Navi's bloodied throat.

Navi exhaled deeply. "Fine, I'll release them. But you must promise me, you won't kill me."

Xiao Feng smiled darkly and nodded. "Very well—I promise not to kill you."
