Chapter 13 - Heaven

"Wow," he exclaimed in excitement.

But suddenly, his excitement deflated—and one thought came to his mind:

"...But then—was that dream real?"

He questioned himself, but before he could answer his own question, the door of the room opened.

CREAK

And a nurse entered with a tray in her hands, on which were some medicines and other stuff.

This caused him to tense up a little and look away from his reflection to the door to see who it was. But after seeing the nurse, he visibly relaxed and sat down on the bed silently.

But the nurse, who saw him sitting up, was feeling everything else but relaxed.

"How?" she muttered under her breath in surprise. But quickly, the surprise went away, and joy took over her face as she hurriedly walked up to him and spoke.

"Are you feeling okay? Do you feel any pain? And how long has it been since you woke up?" she asked multiple questions while checking if everything was okay. After having checked to her heart's content, she relaxed and backed up a little and spoke slowly and softly this time.

"Are you feeling any pain?" she asked.

"No," he answered flatly.

"How long has it been since you woke up?" she continued to ask.

"I just woke up," he answered truthfully.

"Hmm, I see," she said, nodding her head and then looked him from up to down and thought inwardly:

'Aww, he's super cute,' she thought, looking at his mesmerizing golden eyes.

But suddenly, she felt something was odd. 'Wait, his eyes—they should be crystal green, not golden,' she thought, remembering the report in which his information was written.

'I should go and call the doctor,' she thought.

"You just stay here. I will go and call the doctor to check you, okay?" she said.

"Umm," the child replied with a nod of his head.

The nurse left the room after seeing him agree and went to call the doctor.

After the nurse left the room, the kid once again looked back at the glass of the machine and in that, looking at his reflection—at his golden eyes for a while—before backing off and muttering:

"I should first check if the memories I got really are true or not," he said, closed his eyes, and focused. On his eyes—suddenly, when all he was seeing with his closed eyes was darkness, now it had turned into something like when he was seeing with his eyes open—no, even better.

And then he opened his closed eyes. His eyes, which were before just golden, now had some kind of rune in them circling around his iris, shining with a bright golden color.

"Amazing," he said in awe of his power, and looked around the room.

He could even observe things at the atomic level—maybe even beyond it—but he was only able to observe things within 3 meters range of himself. Beyond that was not possible for him, at least for now.

He continued to look around him and then turned his gaze to his own hand. There, he saw his own hand without any clothes on—no, even beyond that. He saw his muscles, fibers—how they moved, his bones, and how his blood flowed. Everything. He saw everything. He also saw that his pinky finger was slightly fractured, and seeing that, he moved his pinky finger and suddenly felt pain.

"That hurt," he said, still looking at his fractured finger.

And suddenly, he had a feeling—a feeling that he could recover it. He tried and imagined the fracture recovering itself, but alas, it didn't work.

"Hmm," he hummed in thought, trying to understand this foreign feeling.

He intensely looked at the bone, observing it to the best of his ability. And then once again, he imagined—but now, instead of the fracture recovering itself, he imagined creating the particles of what the bone was made of—creating them in the fractured place. And then—it worked. Bones started to appear in the fractured place. Then he observed how the bone's particles were connected, and then copying that, he connected them—recovering the fractured finger in no time.

Bringing it up in front of him, he opened and closed his finger multiple times, checking if it truly connected or not. But it did. It truly recovered.

"Wow," he gasped in awe of his own power. "But there was no information about this in the memories I got," he questioned himself and continued, "There was only info about the Observation God bloodline—a power which, if I trained correctly, could even turn into future sight or past sight depending upon the possessor of the bloodline—and some other information about it," he said, remembering the influx of information he got.

"There is nothing related to this in the memories," he said to himself and then looked back up around the room, observing the wall and the room door.

"Should I try creating something else?" he thought and started to observe the glass of the machine. After having memorized its particles and how it's connected, he tried to create it in front of him—above his hand.

But it didn't work. The glass was not created.

But he had a feeling he could create it—but not like this. He was not doing it right. And so, believing his gut feeling and going along with his instincts, he closed his mouth and tried to create it in his mouth—a small piece of glass—and it indeed worked.

'Success,' he thought inwardly, and then opened his mouth to bring that small piece of glass out of his mouth. And the moment it got a bit out of his mouth, the small piece of glass disappeared into thin air.

"Huh," the child looked at his own hand, flabbergasted.

But the surprise went away very quickly, and an understanding came to him.

"So this is how it works—this unknown creation power. I can create anything as long as I understand how that thing is made—but only inside my body. I can't create anything outside of it. Even if I create something inside my body, the moment I take it out, it would disappear and go back to never existing," he said, noting this new power, which he didn't get information for.

While the kid was doing his own experiment, understanding his new power, somewhere else in a completely different dimension…

A woman sat on a big throne—her face not visible. In her hand, a book, reading it while resting her face on her left hand.

Suddenly she turned her face away from the book and looked up.

Suddenly smiling, "As I thought, that child could only dream of killing you," she said, smirking and speaking while gazing at the darkness.

KNOCK

Suddenly a knock was heard on the other side of the massive door.

"Enter," she said, the smile on her face disappearing and turning to a cold look.

Hearing her voice, the being on the other side of the room pushed open the door and entered.

CREAK

Finally, the being came into sight—and only one word could describe him:

Demonic,

The being's look and whole aura radiated one thing: Demonic. His face was a grotesque skull—three skulls settled just beside each other. Four arms and two legs—all were bones. No skin or any other organ.

He stopped a little away from the throne, which was elevated, and bowed down on one knee to the ground and spoke:

"Your Highness, a small crack has appeared on the barrier," all three skulls spoke together, sounding eerily scary—like three people were speaking together at once and in perfect sync.

"I see," she said, her cold face now once again smiling slightly.

"What level of demons can pass through the crack right now?" she asked, closing the book and sitting straight up on the throne.

"Only the lowest level of demons can pass through the crack right now, Your Majesty," he replied.

"Good," she said. "Anyway, you can go back now—and send some demons to the other side, Skull," she ordered.

"Understood, Your Majesty," Skull replied, stood up, and walked away—out of the hall.

"I can't wait to meet you, Heaven," she said.
