Chapter 17 - Reunion of The Four Families

As the two families continued chatting, Valerio's mind couldn't help but return to the Orion family, the galaxy was huge; there could most definitely be a new and rising family.

Regardless, Valerio had the slightest feeling that something was off, the invitation, their uprising, how he hadn't heard of them. It was all very quick.

He was very well versed in the history of the universe; he had read the entirety of the Augustine Library's historical section. This wasn't due to an obsession with history, though he enjoyed learning it; rather, it was to better understand his professions.

Thus, although he was knowledgeable about history, his expertise leaned more towards the four arts and professions.

He shook his head. There was no point in dwelling on it. Since his dad had invited them, there wouldn't be issues. Perhaps he could even learn a thing or two from them.

Unfortunately, his thoughts were interrupted by another ship appearing next to the Solarion.

The Decimus had arrived.

They would often use a formation to teleport to Fluxara; the defences didn't exist for family friends. The reason they had come with a spaceship today was for formalities and as a show of power to the rest of the galaxy.

A family of four appeared in the skies, all wearing silver robes with black accents. They all had black hair and silver eyes, a sign of their enigmatic lineage.

Vincet Decimus, his wife, Maria Decimus, and their twins waved from above.

Vincent waved a hand, and a breathtakingly beautiful silver formation appeared below them. With a flash of silver, they appeared in the arena, slowly walking towards the two families.

Vincent spoke with a grin as he raised his hands, as if to welcome guests.

"Maximus! Let's start the celebrations, I haven't eaten properly in ages."

A knowing smile appeared on Maximus's face.

"You know we can't do that, the rest have yet to come, and don't act like you couldn't have eaten well if you wanted to."

"Yea yea whatever, we're not too early since the birds got here before us. Aren't the early birds supposed to eat first?" Vincent threw a teasing look towards Vermillius, only to be met with two deadpan eyes staring into his soul.

The two family heads maintained the status quo for a few seconds before boisterous laughter erupted from Vermillius, quickly followed by Vincent's.

"Shut up, you nerds," Vermillious threw in between laughs.

"I don't wanna hear that from you, chicken!" replied Vincent, as their wives, Maria and Veronica exchanged a helpless smile.

Valerio's gaze shifted to Felix and Lucy Decimus, the twins of Vincent and Mira Decimus.

Felix stood tall at 1.85 metres, his broad shoulders and imposing frame at odds with the scholarly aura he projected. A thin pair of pale blue glasses rested on his head, adding to his intellectual appearance, though his mischievous nature betrayed the illusion for anyone who knew him well. His black hair and striking silver eyes, a hallmark of the Decimus family, contrasted sharply with his alabaster skin, giving him an air of quiet intrigue.

Lucy, his younger twin, shared the same alabaster complexion and long black hair that cascaded down to her hips. Her large silver eyes, framed by a thin white pair of glasses and her delicate features, shimmered with a beauty that was nothing short of enchanting. Standing at 1.65 metres, her petite, graceful figure possessed a charm that could easily captivate anyone, her allure subtle yet devastating. Lucy's beauty seemed ethereal, a mesmerising presence that could draw men to their downfall if they lingered too long in her gaze.

Felix and Lucy were twins, yet they got along surprisingly well, often progressing through planes at the same rate. Which, given their naturally high talents, was quite a rapid speed, having reached 2nd Plane 7th tier already.

Such speed was shocking amongst geniuses, it had to be remembered that Lucius was a 2nd Planer 5th Tier.

The twins were 2 Tiers above Lucius!

"Yo Val," Felix called out.

"Yo Felix, how have you been man?"

Felix chuckled, "Good good, and you?"

"Better now that you guys are arriving, its a shame that the whole group is rarely together."

Lucy couldn't help but agree, "It is a shame, we should all run away and start our own empire on a random planet."

Felix turned to his sister with a weird look, "And be the emperors and empresses of who? The wildlife?"

"May as well be considering you men could count as the wildlife."

Felix and Valerio exchanged a look that spoke volumes.

'She's not entirely wrong.'

Lucy clicked her tongue, "There's too much testosterone here. When's Aurora arriving?"

Speak of the devil and he shall appear was the quote, wasn't it?

Valerio's gaze shot upward as a sleek white starship, adorned with gleaming gold accents, appeared at the edge of his vision.

The Lux had arrived.

An uncontrollable, small smile spread across his face as he watched three figures materialise above him, their presence commanding the sky. The sight filled him with a mix of confusion and anticipation; the moment he'd been waiting for had finally come. Everyone was here.

Serena and Clarence, the heads of the Lux Family were standing in front of their strahsip with their daughter, Aurora slightly behind them. Clarence stood out with his striking white hair and piercing blue eyes, exuding an aura of calm that seemed to settle the air around him. His presence radiated a quiet gentleness, unmatched by any other. He wore a regal, sage three-piece suit, its elegance emphasised by cufflinks that seemed to sparkle brighter than the sun itself. Tall and lean, Clarence towered over Serena, who was 1.9 metres tall, his figure adorned with intricate pieces of jewellery on his fingers and neck.

Serena, though not originally from the Lux Family, was no less captivating. Her pale skin contrasted beautifully with her bright pink hair, while her purple eyes seemed to enchant anyone who met her gaze. Dressed in an elegant black gown that highlighted her toned and stunning physique, she exuded both strength and grace. Serena smiled warmly at their daughter, Aurora, while Clarence adjusted his cufflinks.

Behind this mesmerising couple stood Aurora. She was breathtaking. Her large, doe-like eyes and unique hair colour stunned anyone who caught sight of her. With silky white hair streaked with light purple, she carried an ethereal beauty. Her hair flowed just below her shoulders, and she, like her mother, stood tall at 1.9 metres. She wore a gorgeous black sundress, which further enhanced her natural allure. As her eyes flitted across the scene, searching, they finally landed on Valerio.
