Elizabeth looked around the World Villain Organisation's Facility before the old man hit the back of her head, "Hey. What was that for?", "to get your attention." His accent had changed to a strong Indian accent, his skin began to shed, revealing an Indian man who was probably in his thirties, she was left surprised, but not too surprised since she had expected such for a villain, but it was surprising that a six foot something guy was able to fit and move perfectly in a four foot body, "Now don't say anything and don't judge, all you new people always have something say about me being Indian.", "Oh? No, I understand, I always get told I could probably be a villain, kinda opposite but I get the judgment part.", "They all say I can't rob a person because of my accent being so friendly." He proceeded to hand her her own wallet "and that is not true", "Huh, wait, when did you get my wallet?", "I must say, being friendly is nice, after all a villain has to use everything in their hands." He handed her her wallet again, she was now holding a foam block, "Eh! How did you do that?", "You should know. Your interview is already going bad.", she looked at him in shock "What?", "Your interview started when you fell down here. I am Mustafa, your interviewer, it's already bad to meet you." He walked off and stood at a random spot, a platform lifted up and floated away, leaving her bamboozled. She snapped out of her confusion and stood where Mustafa once stood, a platform lifted up and followed behind him, taking her to where he was going. During the ride, she saw a person that caught her attention, a handsome Korean man eating alone at a table in what was supposedly a cafeteria. He had soft Hazel eyes, her black hair that looked silky and wore a suit that made his figure pop just enough to give the message 'I mean business both physically and financially'. For a moment he looked at her and smiled, she blushed, not expecting his sudden gaze. It felt warm. Safe even. She didn't know how to react to him.
Mustafa chimed in, "That is Yu-Jun, one of our most useless hires ever. He never fights or causes trouble, all he does is exist and somehow nearly every other villain has a spike of efficiency after he arrived, but we never see him do anything and he doesn't even like talking to anyways . . . Not that anyways tries to talk to him.", "Maybe they feel like they'd ruin their view on him if they did, and the jealousy of his beauty made the men try harder to stay appealing to the women.", "What?", "Nothing.", he squinted his eyes at her, she turned away from Yu-Jun, now embarrassed to have said all that aloud, but she knew she was not wrong. Mustafa also knew she was not wrong. In reality the story that he was a new member was just a test to see what people thought of him in relation to the organisation as a whole, and to this point, the woman In front of him was the third person of the years new recruits to understand the effect of something just existing, but her explanation was lacking slightly, it was not just the men that felt jealousy, the women did to. They hated that he was so handsome that they didn't stand out anymore to the guys, this made them do more harsh stunts. She looked at the platform her interviewer was on, coming to understand that he jumped down from a three story height and didn't even make a sound, like a ninja.
The platform stopped at a high floor that had two chairs, a punch machine, a Tesla coil, a truck full of sand and an hour glass, an odd combination of items, she quickly realised that they were not just going to interview her, they were going to test her capabilities as well, she felt slightly confident with tests however. Her father had been making her do weird chores like dragging his broken down tractor around the lawn and other things that she did not want to mention. For her, those chores were a nightmare, all of them were dumb, but somehow they got the house clean. "Alright. Do you know what each of these will be used for?", "Kinda. The truck is for physical or mental strength and endurance. The Tesla coil checks how much lighting or electric power a person has. The hour glass is to test the speed of either power or the person. Right?", "The chairs?", "Uhhh . . . The interview part I guess?", "Close, but no. A mind reader will try to scramble your brain, if they succeed, do not worry, they will fix you back to normal. It is to test if you have a mental shield and how strong it is.", "Ah. Ok . . . I did not agree to that.", "Neither did the world when we made this organisation, here it is. While you are right about everything. You missed out one aspect of each of them. To test the limit of your powers and the set backs that come with.", "Ok. So where do we start?", "From left to right.", "O.k." The process they were going to follow was the hour glass, the truck filled with soil, the Tesla coil and then the chairs.
She walked up to the hour glass and looked back, "So uhh. What are we going to do here exactly?" Mustafa had a book and pen with him now and has written some notes down about her already, "What is your power and what do you call yourself?", "Oh uhh . . . I call myself Reaper. My power . . ." She thought back to when her father told her about her Drive. His Drive had not vanished after all, instead, it went to her and mixed with her own Drive which was initially just a low level form of Decay which could only make things age two years, but after she got her father's Drive, her decay now aged anything nearly ten years for every minute she held onto it, in addition, she could use the full power of the nuclear electric charge her father had. She couldn't explain it properly, nor did it sound like a possibility, and she couldn't share it openly since people would only see a monster in front of them. "It's uhh . . .", "Shy to say it? Or is it something that you don't want to display?", "Both.", "Sorry, but you have to show it unless you do not want to be here.", ". . . None of this ever goes to the public, right.", "Well, duh. We are aiming to ruin people, what do you think, we'd share our plan with them?" She held the hour glass, the wood on it had begun rotting away nearly instantly, electric currents flashed inside the glasses at such high voltage and speed it heated the sand up to the point it turned red hot and caused the glass to shatter. "Ok. Next test." She nodded and went over to the truck.
She proceeded to show what her father had put her through, dragging the truck, although slowly, across the room, just before Mustafa could write down her performance, she went to the back of the truck and started dragging it to the other side of the room. He nodded, impressed by her determination, but still wrote down her strength. "Next, the Tesla coil. I urge you to try and only use that lighting or electricity you have, ok?", "Got it." She placed her one hand on it, "No no no. All of it I need to know your limit. You must keep charging current into the coil. We will use the hour . . . Glass . . .oh. I will use my stop watch.", "Alright." She then placed both her hands onto the dead coil and closed her eyes, imagining a circuit board in her head, she made the positive and negative ends her hands and then connected them to her 'Battery' which was just her entire body, just like that, the dead coil came alive, the electric gauge built into it raised up half way, seeing that, she felt that her father's powers was being mocked and kick it up to full throttle, the gauge immediately broke, and the electric currents began to shit across the room, scarring the floor and walls, Mustafa had a full body electric suit, preventing himself from getting hurt by the electricity, he noted down, duration, five hours and forty minutes, power, gauge broke, I don't know. "onto the next. I will be the one doing the mind reading and jumbling.", "I thought you were a ninja?", "You assumed, anyone can be quiet and do that jump.", "Alright. I'm ready."
She sat on the chair and waited. Mustafa sat opposite to her and twisted his neck a bit before placing a hand on her shoulder and snapped his fingers. She immediately went to sleep, he sighed and began his part, but immediately found an issue. Her mind had a literal shield made of static electricity, he was shocked when he realised that her whole body was covered in it. There was no way to get to her mind. He decided to find the root of the electricity. Doing so, he found out that it was coming from her Heart, specifically, where her Drive was located, he couldn't do anything about it and knew no one else could do anything about her. Suddenly, a gap formed, taunting him. Seeing that, he shook his head and stopped the test. With a snap of his fingers she woke up and jumped back after seeing something, her instincts kicked in and made her shoot a bolt of lighting at whatever she saw. Mustafa was caught off guard and rolled to the side, lighting would have punched right through his electrical suit and possibly killed him. Right after rolling out of the way he looked back to see what scared her so much.
It turned out to be Yu-Jun, who stood there holding the bolt of lighting with one hand and a coffee cup with his other. He casually took a sip of the coffee before nodding at the bolt of lighting. Elizabeth quickly redirected the bolt back to her and absorbed it back into her body before bowing, "Sorry! You scared me!", he finally spoke, his voice was to die for, a deep, gentle voice that could make men fall for him, "It's fine. Don't worry. I know your father. Met him when I was five, you were the same age back then.", "O-oh so your, my age?", he nodded, "Must be confusing really. In all honesty I am also getting used to this as is. I am Yu-Jun. The new head of the World Villain Organisation.", he held out a hand to shake hers, she was left bamboozled once more, a man the same age as her, that was drop dead gorgeous was much more successful then her and was working in the same place she was, and to top it off, they met when they were five! She told herself that she had to be dreaming or something, Yu-Jun spoke while she was thinking, "You seem to be able use your mother's power as well.", she snapped out of her thoughts and realised what he said was true, she didn't even realise that until he mentioned it, it just felt so natural she had mistaken it for her father's nuclear electric powers, "Your right . . . But in all honesty, I don't know how I did that." She blushed, unable to believe she was having a conversation with someone said to not talk to anyone, just then her imagination was shot down by herself, he had lied about his position, this made her feel sad and think he may be talking to many other women already. Mustafa spoke up, "Crazy lady. I can tell what you are thinking. No, I did not lie, well. Not entirely, he does not talk to anyone, and he is useless, and since he is new, I have to handle all of his paper work and half of his jobs, one of them was this one.", "I . . . He could have been my interviewer?" Qué handsome Korean interviewer scene, in her mind of course. She still has her teenage brain even though she's already an adult, not to mention she's joining people who could kill other people to get their point across.
Yu-Jun spoke to break her out of her fantasy, "Well. Since you have completed your interview, you can go now and wait for my kind assistant's word in five business days. We hope to have you in our cause.", "O-oh. Yes. Thank you . . . Uh . . . Do you know anywhere cheap to-", Mustafa chimed in, "We have rooms for people waiting for responses. You can stay there for the meantime.", "Ah yes. I forgot we had those. That is a perfect place for you.", "Y-yeah. True. Uh . . . Mustafa will show you to your room, I must tend to other matters." He smiled, clearly proud of himself sounding professional and busy, Mustafa only sighed, knowing that the matters Yu-Jun had to attend to were just basic training and then 'him' time. With no choice, Mustafa began to walk to a platform, Our teenage brained MC followed, knowing what the platforms did, she kept her eyes away from Yu-Jun, too embarrassed to say bye properly. When she said people don't talk to him to ruin his image, she only said half of what she wanted to say, the other half was that he may be more than what they could handle, and in her case, the second part hit her like a train now. Before she knew it, she was already by the door to her room in the WVO, a room reserved for employees.
"Here we are.", "Oh. Wait, this says . . . Weird, it has my name, but it's an employee room, I think you- . . . No.", "Yes. Go. You succeeded.", she squealed in excitement, her hands reaching for the handle, but then froze, a realization hit her. She succeeded, and now she has to deal with Yu-Jun forever . Not only that, she has to start working soon, both of which made her imagine she had hit an ice burger with a large ship twice in a row. Mustafa pushed her inside the room, "Enjoy hell, idiot. You start next Monday.", "Shit." Hey, at least the room was beautiful, it was like a five star resort given to her, she could see everything outside the room except the other rooms and specific parts of the facility, she assumed that was the case with her room, meaning that she could see what she needed, even from a far. A practical and other worldly experience at the same time.
