Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Aiden

I toss and turn in bed, hoping that Selena is asleep. I look at the clock on the nightstand and it's about 8:25 PM. I get out of bed and walk slowly and quietly towards the door. The floor beneath me creaks slightly, so I have to be careful. I turn the lock and open the door. I look around and I don't see Selena anywhere. She must be asleep.

I step out of the room, my heart pounding in my chest. The hallway is dimly lit, casting long shadows that seem to dance menacingly on the walls. I tiptoe down the corridor, my bare feet padding silently against the cool wood floor. The house is eerily quiet, save for the distant hoot of an owl outside. Suddenly, I hear a faint rustling sound coming from one of the rooms nearby. I freeze, my breath catching in my throat.

As scared as I am, I keep walking and as I go down the stairs behind me I hear a door open. I freeze and when I turn I see Selena and her face is red with anger. "Are you running again Aiden?" Her voice is dangerous and I get shivers all over my body. "I'm sorry Selena, but you can't hold me forever!" I reply and reach for the front door. Luckily for me it's unlocked and I quickly step outside, the forest adding to the gloomy mood. "Aiden!" Selena shouts behind me, but I don't stop running.

I sprint through the forest, branches whipping at my face as I run blindly. My heart pounds wildly in my chest, fueled by adrenaline and fear. I can hear Selena crashing through the undergrowth behind me, her angry shouts echoing through the woods. "Come back here, Aiden! You can't run from me!" Her voice is laced with fury and something darker, primal.

My pulse races as I dash deeper into the forest, the moon casting dappled shadows through the dense canopy above. I can still hear Selena pursuing me, her breath ragged but determined. Panic surges through me, and I push harder, my lungs burning with exertion. "Get back here, Aiden!" Selena's voice booms behind me, punctuated by the snap of twigs under her feet. The ferocity in her tone sends a chill down my spine.

As I run, I suddenly hear music in front of me as if there is a fair nearby. I walk quickly forward and when I reach a path I see people around me and a small fair. I need to find a place to hide from it. I look around quickly and an empty circus catches my attention. I will hide here.

The big top tent looms ahead, a faded red and white canvas stretched taut over a metal frame. The entrance flap flaps gently in the breeze, inviting me inside. I duck under the fabric and step into the shadowy interior, my eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the dusty canvas. The space is vast, the air heavy with the scent of sawdust and old popcorn.

I quickly scan the area for any signs of movement or hidden spaces where I could conceal myself. To my relief, I spot several crates stacked in a corner near the entrance. They provide the perfect cover. I rush over to them and crouch down behind the nearest stack, my heart hammering in my chest as I listen intently for any sound of pursuit.

The tent is eerily silent, save for the distant murmur of voices from outside and the occasional rustle of fabric as the wind blows through the structure. I press myself against the crate, my breaths shallow and quick. The dim light filtering through the canvas creates shifting patterns on the worn floorboards, but does little to illuminate the darkness that seems to envelop me.

The minutes tick by like hours as I crouch behind the crates, straining to hear any sign of Selena's approach. Sweat trickles down my back, despite the cool evening air seeping in through the canvas walls. Just as I begin to relax, thinking maybe she hasn't found me yet, I hear it, a soft footfall followed by another. Someone is entering the tent.

My heart leaps in my throat as the footsteps grow louder, more deliberate. I peer through the slats of the crate, trying to catch a glimpse of who it is. Then I see her, Selena, silhouetted against the moonlight streaming in from the entrance. She stands tall and imposing, her piercing gray eyes scanning the tent.

Her presence fills the space, commandeering the atmosphere with her mere existence. She moves with purpose, her boots clicking against the wooden floorboards as she stalks further into the tent. I shrink back behind the crate, praying she won't notice me. "Come out, come out, wherever you are" she singsongs mockingly, her voice echoing through the cavernous space.

Selena stops, looking around. My heart is pounding in my chest and I try to stay hidden. "If only I could find you, Aiden! I'll fuck you up so bad you won't walk at all!" Selena said, and suddenly her eyes darted to the crates I was hiding in. "You think you can run? I warned you that if you run again this time I won't be alms!" Her words scared me, but also excited me, although I don't want to admit it.

Selena strides towards the crates, her boots kicking up dust with each determined step. She reaches the stack where I'm hiding and crouches down, her eyes narrowing as she peers through the slats. Our gazes lock, and a wicked grin spreads across her face. "You thought you could hide from me, bunny?" she purrs, reaching through the slats to grab my arm.

She yanks me out from behind the crates, her grip bruising as she hauls me to my feet. I stumble against her, my chest heaving as I try to catch my breath. Her eyes bore into mine, dark and stormy with a mix of anger and something else, something raw and primal. "You can't keep running from me, Aiden" she growls, her voice low and dangerous. I swallow hard, my pulse racing as I stare up at her.

Before I can react she turns me around and presses me against the chest, forcing me to bend over. "I warned you!" she whispers dangerously in my ear. She clenches my hair into a fist and I wince in pain. "I won't be nice this time! You woke the monster up and now it's going to devour you!" "Selena let me go!" She growls and in one motion pulls my pants down along with my boxers to my ankles. "This is how I'm going to fuck you Aiden! I'm going to send you to hell with my cock!" she screams in my ear.

Selena releases my hair and pushes me roughly against the crate, my cheek pressed into the rough wood. I hear the rustle of fabric as she frees herself, and then I feel the head of her cock press insistently against my entrance. "No!" I cry out, trying to wiggle free, but she pins me in place with one strong hand splayed across my back. "Hold still" she commands, her voice low and threatening.

She spits on her hand and uses it to slick up my hole, then positions herself at my entrance once more. This time, there's no resistance as she pushes past the initial ring of muscle. I cry out at the intrusion, the burning stretch sending jolts of pain mixed with unexpected pleasure through my body. "That's it" she coos, her breath hot against my ear. "Take it all, bunny."

Selena pushes deeper, her hips twisting as she thrusts her cock into my tight hole. I moan, the sensation overwhelming as she thrusts her length through me. "Fuck you, you're tight" she growls, pausing briefly to give me a chance to adjust. Pain radiates from my ass, but there's something else too, an electric spark that makes my toes curl. "So tight."

Selena begins to move, her hips thrusting forward as she withdraws slightly before driving back into me. I grunt at the impact, the sensation intense and almost unbearable. Yet, amidst the pain, there's an undeniable heat spreading through my veins. Her hands grip my hips tightly, fingers digging into my flesh as she sets a punishing rhythm. "Take it" she growls, each word punctuated by a forceful thrust.

Selena grabs my hair and pulls me back towards her. "Why are you running away from me Aiden! Admit it already!" she growls in my ear as she pushes herself deeper into me. "You're crazy! I'll never admit it because I don't feel anything for you!" I growled, I couldn't take it anymore. "I'll never love a beast" I continued. I didn't care what he would do anymore.

"Never say never, bunny" Selena snarls, her grip tightening in my hair. She pulls back slightly, then slams forward, driving her cock deep into me. I cry out, the sudden pain stealing my breath. "You will learn to love this beast" she growls, beginning to pound into me with renewed vigor. The crate shakes and rattles against the force of her thrusts, the sound mingling with our grunts and moans.

The tent shakes violently as Selena fucks me relentlessly, her hips slapping against my ass with brutal force. Her cock stretches me wide, the pain and pleasure intertwining in a dizzying dance that leaves me breathless. She grunts and groans, her breaths ragged and harsh in my ear. "Is this what you wanted, bunny?" she taunts, her voice laced with cruelty. "To be taken like an animal in the dirt?"

"N-no" I manage to choke out, my voice strained with the effort of speaking. "It hurts." She laughs cruelly, her fingers digging into my hips as she continues to pound into me. "Good" she hisses. "You deserve to hurt after what you did. Running from me like that." Her thrusts become even more savage, her cock pistoning in and out of me at a relentless pace.

Suddenly, a gunshot is heard from outside, and Selena and I freeze. "What's going on?" I ask, my voice shaking. Selena pulls away from me and tucks her cock into her pants. "Get ready now!" she orders, pulling a gun from her waistband. I pull up my boxers and pants, and then a masked man enters the tent and points his gun at us.

"Stay behind me" Selena says, pushing me gently aside as she steps forward to confront the intruder. The masked man hesitates for a moment, his gun wavering between us before settling back on Selena. "You shouldn't have come here" he growls, his voice muffled by the mask. "I could say the same for you" Selena replies, her voice steady and calm.

Selena takes another step forward, her body tense and ready for action. "Who are you?" she demands, her voice echoing through the tent. The masked man chuckles, a low and menacing sound that sends shivers down my spine. "Someone who's been watching you, Selena" he replies, taking a step closer himself. His gun remains trained on her, his finger resting lightly on the trigger.

"Enough talk" the masked man snorted, pointing his gun at Selena's chest. "It's time to end this." Before either of us could react, the man pulled the trigger, the sound echoing through the circus. "Selena!" I screamed, my heart suddenly sinking. She swayed and I caught her before she fell. "Selena! Hang on!" Something inside me awakens, and tears suddenly stream down my face without me realizing it. The man laughs smugly and runs away.

I lower Selena to the ground, my hands trembling as I cradle her head in my lap. "Selena, please" I beg, tears blurring my vision. Her breath comes in shallow gasps, and blood blooms across her shirt like a dark flower. "Don't leave me" I plead, pressing my hand against the wound to staunch the flow. She looks up at me, her gray eyes filled with pain and something else- regret?

Selena's eyes flutter closed, and she coughs weakly. "Aiden... I'm sorry." Her voice is barely a whisper, but it cuts through me like a knife. I shake my head vigorously, refusing to accept her apology. "No, Selena. You have nothing to be sorry for" I insist, blinking away tears. "Just hang on. We'll get help." She smiles sadly, reaching up to cup my cheek. "Too late for that, bunny."

"It's not too late Selena! You won't die!" I say, and the tears won't stop. I pick her up in my arms and quickly walk back to her house. Only her gang can help her. "Hold on Selena! Don't you dare die!" I can't deny it anymore, no matter how much I want to, when I shoot her I realize that I really love her, even though she's a psycho, a beast, and a hunter. "If you die, you won't hear my confession" I whisper, but she doesn't hear me. I have to hurry.
