"Even if time splits, even if gods scream, we'll hold hands through every version of forever."
Scene 1 – Fractured Infinity
May 11, 2011 – Dimensional Rift: The Ruby Spiral
A thousand Rubies stood in a spiraling expanse of mirrored space.
Each one slightly different—some with longer hair, some with quieter eyes. One even wore a medical mask, like Sarina once did.
At the center of it all floated Souta, arms gently outstretched, his eyes sharp and unyielding.
"You stabbed one Ruby," he said calmly. "So I made sure none of them were the one you needed to harm."
The boy from the paradox dimension clenched his teeth. His fingers twitched at his sides.
"This is... impossible!"
Souta tilted his head, his voice edged with quiet amusement.
"You told me to pick one. But you forgot—I'm the one who decides how choices work."
His tone darkened, deliberate.
"I don't choose between love. I protect all of it."
As he spoke, the spiral of Rubies shimmered—slowly merging into a single, radiant form. Ruby stood before him, holding her chest, confused but smiling.
"Souta… was that… me?"
"Every version. Every path." His hands cupped her face, firm and warm. "You're all real to me."
His voice softened.
"And I won't let any of you suffer for a god's game."
Scene 2 – Ai Ascends
May 11, 2011 – Tokyo – Hoshino Household
Back on Earth, Ai trembled.
Her body shook, her breath shallow as light poured from her starry eyes.
Beside her, Happy—now fully tangible—hovered like a guardian, his golden glow steady and unwavering.
Aqua stood near, watching Ai, watching the air crackle around her.
"It's started," Happy murmured. "Souta's creating... not just power."
Aqua turned, his gaze sharp.
"Then what?"
Happy met his eyes.
"A system. A world. He's giving meaning form."
Aqua stepped closer to Ai, his voice low.
"Ai... are you okay?"
She turned to him slowly, her expression raw, tears streaming down her face.
"I feel everything. All at once."
Her voice trembled.
"Every version of me who ever wished she could love right."
Aqua waited.
"And?"
Ai clenched her fists, her body quaking with the weight of it all.
"They all just want to hold their kids one more time."
Her breath hitched.
"So let them."
And in an instant—her aura erupted, surging skyward like a collapsing star reborn in reverse.
Scene 3 – The Judgement Fracture
The Divine Conclave – Cracking Reality
The gods watched.
Helpless.
Their laws splintered, bending, twisting. Yet—for every rule Souta defied, he didn't erase it.
He rewrote the consequence.
The balance held… but barely.
One god leaned forward, their hands shaking.
"The boy… he isn't rewriting reality."
Their voice was hollow, shaken.
"He's reconciling it."
Another god, breath ragged, hissed.
"How?!"
And the eldest among them—the one robed in sorrow—spoke.
"Because he was born not to rule."
They inhaled sharply.
"But to forgive existence."
Then—
BOOM.
A rupture tore through their space, jagged and sudden.
From the crack, a figure stepped forward.
Not cloaked in infinity.
Not adorned in divine robes.
A girl.
Long blonde hair.
Yellow star-eyes.
Dressed like an idol.
She winked.
"Yo," she said casually. "Sorry I'm late. What did I miss?"
The gods dropped to their knees.
"Supreme one… you've become... her?"
The girl stretched, rolling her shoulders.
"Nah. I just wanted to know what Ai feels like."
She pointed to the screen. To Souta. To Ruby.
"That kid?" She smiled. "He's rewriting the point of us."
Silence.
Then—
"...Should we stop him?"
The Supreme God laughed.
"Stop him?" She grinned. "I created him to do this."
Scene 4 – The Family United
Ruby Spiral Collapse – Return to Earth
The mirrored space wavered—collapsing around them.
Ruby turned to Souta, a little dazed, her fingers trembling as she reached for his sleeve.
"You said… you wouldn't choose one version of me."
Souta nodded.
"That's right."
She hesitated.
"Then… what about Aqua? Ai? Do they… do they all exist in other paths too?"
He exhaled.
"They do. And all of them deserve their happiness."
A pause.
"Then why are you the one who decides?"
Souta held her gaze.
"...Because someone has to."
Ruby's breath hitched.
Then—without hesitation—she hugged him.
Tight.
"Then promise me this."
"What?"
"Don't do it alone."
Behind them, Ai's light touched the space—
And they fell back to Earth.
As a complete family.
Scene 5 – The New School Day
May 12, 2011 – 7:02 AM – High School Rooftop
Aqua stood, watching the sunrise.
Ai joined him, her hair pulled into a ponytail, the wind teasing strands loose.
"We haven't told the world yet, have we?" she mused.
"About what?"
"That we're not just idols and actors."
Aqua smirked.
"You think they'll believe it?"
Ai's smile was calm. Knowing.
"Does it matter?"
Behind them—
A door slammed open.
Souta barreled onto the rooftop, Happy strapped to his back like an impromptu backpack.
Ruby followed close behind, holding four bento boxes.
"SOUTA, YOU FORGOT TO CHILL THE MILK!"
"SENSEI SAYS YOU CAN'T RIDE A STUFFED BEAR!"
"MY BENTO IS TOO CUTE, I'M NOT EATING THIS!!"
They froze.
Then—
laughed.
Final Scene – The Godkiller's Whisper
That night—
Deep in a prison outside time—
A being in chains stirred.
Eyes sharper than existence.
A voice like the breaking of time itself.
"So… the third child learns to forgive."
A slow inhale.
"But what will he do... when love fails him?"
And as a single petal from Ai's crown drifted by—
The eyes opened.
And everything—
stopped breathing.
