"What is it?" Uchiha Yuan asked.
Asana made sure no one was around, then activated her Byakugan.
Seeing this, Yuan's expression immediately turned serious.
At this moment, Asana's once ordinary white pupils—like those of every other Hyuga clan member—turned blue, with arcs of light resembling electricity circulating around the iris.
This state resembled Ōtsutsuki Toneri's eyes after awakening the Tenseigan.
"That day..." Asana then explained to Yuan the reason behind her Byakugan's mutation and revealed that she had acquired two special abilities.
Yes, two—not just one. While she had told Orochimaru about her puppet control ability, she had kept her second ability hidden: the power to manipulate gravity and repulsion.
This power resembled the Deva Path of the Rinnegan, but with differences.
With her Tenseigan, gravity was stronger than repulsion—Asana could, with a single thought, uproot an entire tree and draw it toward her. However, her repulsion was weaker than the Rinnegan's—it could deflect minor attacks, but not powerful ones.
In the original series, the Tenseigan also emphasized gravitational pull. Toneri once used it to alter the trajectory of celestial bodies.
"Asana, after your Byakugan evolved, did you feel any discomfort?"
She shook her head. "No. In fact, I've felt extremely comfortable. Even the Caged Bird Seal seems to have weakened. It can no longer destroy my nerves or kill me outright."

"To explain that, I have to start with what happened back when that white creature kidnapped me in the Land of Bears. At that time, I met Uchiha Madara."
"Uchiha Madara? The one who co-founded the Hidden Leaf with the First Hokage? Wasn't he already dead?" Asana asked in shock.
"He wasn't. That battle long ago was actually a scheme by Madara to deceive Hashirama Senju." Yuan then told her about the Valley of the End battle, the aftermath, and the Uchiha clan's two forbidden jutsu: Izanagi and Izanami.
Asana's face went through many changes as she listened, ending with a deep sigh. "So Madara had been planning all this from the shadows. But... why?"
"That's what I'm about to explain. It's also the greatest secret in the entire ninja world."
Yuan's tone became solemn. Asana straightened up and said, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
Yuan nodded—he trusted her completely.
"Asana, this world didn't originally have chakra. One day, a mysterious celestial woman ate the fruit of the God Tree and gained chakra. Her name was Ōtsutsuki Kaguya—she's the origin of all chakra."

"Wait, Yuan, isn't the Rinnegan supposed to be the Six Paths Sage's eyes? Why did it appear on Kaguya?" Asana interrupted.
"That's because she later gave birth to two sons—Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Hamura. Both inherited her chakra and bloodline."
"And Hagoromo is the Six Paths Sage! He's Kaguya's son."
Yuan went on to give her a full history lesson about the ninja world.
Asana learned how Hagoromo and Hamura fought and sealed Kaguya away on the moon.
Hamura, to accompany and guard their mother, led part of their clan to the moon, while the rest remained on Earth.
Hagoromo then traveled the world, spreading chakra to the people. He came to be known as the Six Paths Sage as well.
Years later, Hagoromo had two sons: the elder, Indra, inherited spiritual power and the Sage's eyes (yin release), while the younger, Asura, inherited physical vitality and the Sage's body (yang release).
These two sons fought over Hagoromo's teachings and became rivals.
Their conflict lasted for generations. Their chakra lingered in their descendants, who continued their ancient struggle.
"So... the Uchiha and Senju clans are their descendants? No wonder they were so powerful during the Warring States Era.
And the Hyuga are the descendants of Hagoromo's brother—so we all share the same roots. No wonder Hashirama's cells helped fix my genetic defects and allowed my Byakugan to evolve," Asana remarked.
"Right. Bloodline is important, but it's not everything," Yuan replied seriously.
"What happened afterward? You said earlier that Indra and Asura didn't inherit the Rinnegan?"
"Their chakra remained dormant in their successors, reappearing every few generations. Yin and yang chakra—once combined—can unlock the power of the Six Paths. That includes the Rinnegan and abilities that control all creation."
"So... any Uchiha with both Indra and Asura's chakra could awaken the Rinnegan?" Asana asked thoughtfully.
"Not quite. Having both doesn't guarantee awakening it—but without them, it's impossible."
"Then what about the Tenseigan you mentioned?"
"The Tenseigan is to the Byakugan what the Rinnegan is to the Sharingan—you can think of it as the final form of the Byakugan."
Asana was left in stunned silence. Everything she had just heard shattered her understanding of the world.
The legendary figures like Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, Hagoromo, and the Three Great Dōjutsu weren't myths—they were real, and deeply interconnected.
